jwynne 0 #7 November 8, 2006 I have worked with a number of pet monkeys. They make terrible pets. Most often someone was asking me to remove teeth so that they would cause less damage to the people they live with. Monkeys are filthy and destructive. Both things that work fine in the wild or in a zoo. Not at all compatible with life in someone's house. When they are scared or threatened their natural behavior is to bite. Also not compatible. Don't get a monkey as a pet. In many states it's also not legal.
