A Night in Paris, France

Recommended Posts

Well, just in the US there is:

Paris, Arkansas
Paris, Idaho
Paris, Illinois
Paris, Kentucky
Paris, Maine
Paris, Michigan
Paris, Missouri
Paris, Mississippi
Paris, Ohio
Paris, Tennessee
Paris, Texas
Paris, Virginia
and not to mention Perris Valley Skydiving , which is often misspelled.

We have a lot to choose from, it helps to be specific. ;)

Splurge and eat at L'Tour de Argent. Still the best meal I've ever had in my life. Ever.

And ask really nicely and get to see the wine cellar from the 12th century - run by a Monk. Bricked up in the 40s to prevent the Nazis from finding it.

Trust me. This is a delight. It'll be worth it. You'll tell your grandkids about the meal.

if you go to Notre-Dame, don't miss to visit La Samaritaine, one of the "traditional Big Shop" of PAris. Don't buy anything, take escalators to the top, pass by the restaurant, 2 mor flights of stairs IIRC and tehre is a small staircase to get to the belvedere. The MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW of PAris.

Go to the Bercy area, have a meal and wine at Le Chai 33 www.chai33.com

Probably time you guys started thinking up your own place names then really.:P

Yeah, when I tell people I was born in Fort Worth, they always ask "England?":|

:P:D

When I visited your island I really enjoyed Milwaukee and Orlando and Seattle . . . oh wait, you don't have any of those. We must have made up some new ones.:D

I love how you Brits always say "Atlanta, Georgia" like no one knows where it is. It's so cute.

But we're used to having a big country. We assume everyone knows where it is already.:)

Hey, I just do that because it's fun to say 'Georgia' in a fake southern accent!:P

I love how Americans think they have to specify that Paris is actually in France. Same as London, England and Rome, Italy I guess.

The rest of just take it for granted that people know these things:P

It could be Paris, Texas. Ever been there? The state is almost as big as France! I love it when Europeans don't know how big the rest of the world really is, not to even mention Texas!:D:D:D:D

Americans lecturing on knowing the rest of the world?!? Say it ain't so!

BTW, I know how big Texas is - I also know how much of it is empty and insignificant:D
