I get at least one a week if not more. I have even gotten solicitation calls form people out of the US trying to get me to change phone service....

Used to get them from my own cell phone company. Told them to stop spamming me or I'd switch carriers. Haven't had an issue since. However, if it started happening on a regular basis, I'd just remove texting from my phone.

I've heard this complaint from at&t users quite a bit.

Aparantly it's impossible to stop all text messages to phones on the at&t network. My dad ended up having to switch off of at&t(went to verizon) to get the spam to stop.

It totally sucks. This problem will probably get worse for you.
