How many of you scuba dive also?

Recommended Posts

diving is awesome. I have my open water cert. I did my check dives down in Key West. The water is so warm down there. :)
My favorite places in FL are the keys or Boca Raton. You can dive with the dolphins and check out ships that have Grouper larger than some cars. B|

The down side to diving is similar to jumping. The shit you need is expensive.:S

If I stand on my tip toes, I can see the weekend from here!

I was just wondering. I want to do it, I think it would be amazing:)

that makes two of us.

I was wondering whay my instructor (I was 16) was telling me not to jump out of any planes right after a dive - I was like - ummm - OK - I don't see that ever being a problem:|

. . . I was SO WRONG . . . :D

I've been a Scuba Diver for quite some time and hold quite a few ratings including Instructor. I actually have more scuba dives than skydives but I'm working to change that.

I'd be happy answer any questions you've got about Scuba.

Yes, it's definitely amazing! For me, there's nothing more peaceful.

I agree. It’s very relaxing. Underwater, everything’s calm, peaceful, and quiet…unless you’re in the middle of a shark feeding frenzy.:P
It can become an expensive hobby though.
How can I be so thirsty when I drank so much last night?

Ok I found this in a magazine is this a good price. $920 for 5 nights certification and a car rental. But then there is airfare to Grand cayman and a passport:S

A padi open water course should cost US$200-$300.

I think she was looking at all inclusive - all expenses paid - less airfare.

If that's the case - it's about right - but you can find better.

As fun as that sounds, i think you're better off doing a local course. Get certified then take a vacation trip. And if you're ever in need of a dive buddy, lemme know. :)

I have done a few dives and will be getting certified this summer. I find it even more exhilarating then skydiving in some ways.
