I knew it was kind of a collapsible vehicle. I mean it's compact for the travel portion, and then after landing, you expand it, like the full size baby strollers. The recent Mars Rover crafts were set up like that too, all antennae and solar panels retracted, etc, until touchdown. My hometown is Huntsville, AL, which is home to Marshall Space Flight Center and the Space and Rocket Museum.
