ifall 0 #2 February 10, 2008 No. They are very irritating. And boring. I haven't even watched what you have mentioned with the exception of one. And I fell asleep halway through it. <----needs sleep as well.
Zenister 0 #3 February 10, 2008 hmm High Plains Drifter? Fist full of Dollars? For a Few Dollars More? Pale Rider? not sure how you can enjoy tGBU and not like those.. A Man called Horse has always been a favorite of mine. 3:10 to Yuma was nicely done recently as well.. but tbh I'm not much of a fan of any of the Young Guns movies...____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. Royd 0 #11 February 10, 2008 Admittedly, any movie that follows a certain genre can have a certain cheezyness to it, and there's always room for criticism. I just watched Unforgiven for the umpteenth time, just the other night. I can watch The Outlaw, Josie Wales, anytime.
popsjumper 2 #12 February 10, 2008 Not like Westerns? You're an alien at heart. Jeeeez...cowboys are cool. The only thing I don't like about Westerns, and it applies to other shoot-'em-ups as well, is the never-run-out-of-ammo guns often used. Sheeet. Westerns laid the groundwork for all shoot-'em-ups. Even Star Wars was a Western in a different setting, that's all.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Zenister 0 #18 February 10, 2008 QuoteSheeet. Westerns laid the groundwork for all shoot-'em-ups. Even Star Wars was a Western in a different setting, that's all. and all Westerns are actually Samurai movies (the Magnificent Seven being a direct translation of Seven Samurai)... Star Wars was more based on "The Hidden Fortress" than anything else____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. rapter 0 #23 February 10, 2008 Quick and the dead was a dumb movie, but Sharon Stone looked hot in it, and Leo "no one should ever skydive" DeCrapo did get killed,..... and cried like a little girl, much like he did on his Tandem. "Open Range" is a very good new Western, great shoot out at the end. Only the good die young, so I have found immortality,
