Should I hike the Appalachian Trail next year or move to Hawaii and surf and skydive?

I have lived the skydive life for a few years and need a scenery change.

Do both. Walk the mountains in the summer, rob a few banks and escape to the North Shore for the winter swell.

Hawaii is widely over-rated. I lived there a few years and just didn't get it.

Definitely a nice place to visit, just wouldn't recommend living there.

Neither.

Hike the Pacific Crest Trail, but bail off the trail every week or so to go surf. You can make up the trail time you lose while surfing in California by hitting huge mileages in Oregon.

There are two places to jump there. Pacific (at the end of the road) is great for fun jumpers.

This is what I wrote regarding Pacific Skydiving when I got back from my vacation there:

From the dz review from one of their instructors to the professionalism of their packers this is one drop zone you should definitely check out. The KingAir is fast to altitude with the climb out going over the Pacific (lots to see from the windows). Spotting is dead on, the view from altitude and under canopy is unbeatable. The packers are quick and efficient, the entire staff treats you like you're one of their own. I was only able to make one jump there yet was treated as if I'd been jumping there from the beginning. Definitely one of the friendliest drop zones I've visited, just remember to bring your beer!!

The only naturals in this sport shit thru feathers...
