You shouldn't have to decide. That decision has been made for you. BTW, you know they sell medals at the exchange right? Might want to go get a few more "Always do right. matthewcline 0 #11 September 18, 2009 Well the Gunney is going be all over you if you go in any thing other than "A". Hell I am retired Army and I was told I have to wear a tux just to film the Ball! JohnRich 4 #12 September 18, 2009 That's a lot of medals for a lance-corporal. Thanks for your hard work in earning them, and thank you for your service to this great country! You need to work on getting your shooting badge upgraded from sharpshooter to expert...

matthewcline 0 #14 September 18, 2009 http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/sites/mcub/library/MCUR/URCH2.htm#UR2003 They are two different uniforms. The "A" Medals, the "B" Ribbons. and they have distinct times for wear and of course the Commander can dictate to wear a higher class uniform if they so choose. The Ball is traditionally the higher class uniforms, it is a pride and tradition issue that is well earned by the Corps and well respected by all of us in the other services. ACMESkydiver 0 #15 September 18, 2009 I liked 'A'. Have fun!! I don't remember how many years it's been since I went with my hubby to the Ranger Ball. That was fun! Thanks for serving. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
micduran 0 #16 September 18, 2009 I didn't think you had a choice. You have to wear the A.Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours.
lost_n_confuzd 0 #17 September 19, 2009 Class-A, bro. In my eight MC Balls I've always wore medals, unless I was deployed, lol. At a regualar MC ball bring a date, you're not going to find one there. Too much competition. At an MSG Detachment ball, go stag! 6 Marines and 300 civilians, half of which are Eastern European dimes; what more needs to be said.
