I've always thought the whole thing was like abstract art. You hear in the lyrics what's in your own mind. If you hear dirty words in the unintelligible lyrics, then...

The story I always heard was, there were no lyrics. They were spontaneous and ad-libbed. It was the 'B' side of their record and just caught on and took off. (?)

This is rather ironic...a few weeks ago my dog got sick and died. My wife and myself went and got a puppy from around the austin area. I wanted to call him mason but the breeder called him Louie and my wife decided to stick with the name. So she sings this song every time she calls his name now.

He's a cute little guy. I'll bet, he never misses a call for supper. Good story.

When our little spaniel passedn away a year ago, my wife and I decided to go to our local shelter for a puppy. The lady at the shelter told us the one I picked was a girl. I didn't doubt her. We got Sally home and she was running around the house, familiarizing herself with her new surroundings. She came running into the living room and rolled over on her back for a tummy rub. My wife was in another room and I yelled-out; "Honey! Sally is a SAMMY!" The name stuck! I called the lady at the shelter and told her she needed to change the information on Sammy's chip. She was embarrassed and we got a big laugh out of it.

I was a freshman in college at the time. We all got a really good laugh out of it. And the attempts to ban "Satisfaction".
