Skydivers do not jump out of an AN-2. The AN-2 regurgitates them after consuming the skydivers' machismo.

If an AN-2 is rolling on a giant conveyor belt, both the AN-2 and the conveyor will take off and gain altitude at 80 knots of speed. The pilot can then land the AN-2 anywhere on the planet, complete with it's own runway.

If skydivers jump out of an AN-2, and the propeller of the aircraft immediately stops, there is still enough momentum in the air-mass for the skydivers to land safely with no parachute.

If a wingsuiter jumps from a low-flying AN-2, she can safely land on top of the AN-2, after the AN-2 lands on a pile of cardboard boxes.

Felix Baumgartner originally planned on jumping from 120,000 feet out out of an AN-2, which can easily reach this altitude. Red Bull, however, had to spend millions constructing a space capsule because the AN-2 does not do product endorsements.

AN-2 pilots hate it when the birds land on the wing to take a break...and then pass him by as they continue on their journey.

There was an AN-2 at Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run Airport near Ypsalanti MI this winter. Dont know if its there for flying or display only. Work was being done on it at that time

I did a few jumps back in 98 from AN-2... IDK what is all this shit about, but I'd rather spend 30 mins to get to Hop and Pop altitude instead of climbing out of 182 that get to the same altitude not so much faster with 4 jumpers then An :)

and yeah.. I second that An-2 don't need a damn runaway! :)
