skydivingdutch 0 #1 October 25, 2004 from the pictures I've seen there is no bungee and it also doesnt seem like it would be easy to add a bungee to it. How do people keep that thing on their face? http://dropman.com
linestretch 0 #2 October 25, 2004 i use a leash or whatever you call the sun glasses keepers and then put a squeeze stopper deal on the line, and cinch it down around the back of my mellon. Works friggin awesome!my pics & stuff!
lewmonst 0 #3 October 25, 2004 Bend them to fit your face very well... I can wear mine without a croakie strap on video jumps. The couple rare times they slide off they are stopped by my eyepiece. I wear a croakie strap with them on any other jump with any other helmet. peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com
Miami 0 #4 October 25, 2004 Tube stow. Specifically the long piece as seen on a pair of tube stow goggles. Slides over the end quite snugly and fits great under pretty much any helmet. Just be careful about take it on and off cause it can rip the rubber grips on the gatorz. I actually jump mine all the time without a strap of any type under my frap hat and camera helmet and have had no problems with them coming off. Hope this helps...Miami
Brains 2 #5 October 25, 2004 I'll ditto what Lewmonst said, under my camera helmet, no strap and no problems. With any other helmet, i use a rubber strap that came off of some goggles. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
Deuce 1 #6 October 25, 2004 Just the leash thingie. Bend them to fit your face and they stay on real good. Mine are a little too tight to wear all day as sunglasses, but I put them on and off as I go in and out of the hangar. I really love mine, they have ended up being cheaper than replacing cheap plastic ones all the time which broke at the temples about monthly.

Stumpy 256 #8 October 26, 2004 Are they fine for freefall?? does air getting in around the side make your eyes water at all? Would like to get some decent sunnies to jump in coz some of the goggles do make you look like a bit of a gimp....Never try to eat more than you can lift

Deuce 1 #10 October 26, 2004 Quotegoggles do make you look like a bit of a gimp.... Actually, Gimp wears Gatorz too. If your eyes are really sensitive, or you wear contacts, you'll be better off with a quality pair of goggles. If you find a model of Gatorz or whatever that fits your face well, it works as good at goggles. I've got probably about 300 jumps on mine, camera, RW, freefly, and I prefer them to goggles. SkymonkeyONE 3 #11 November 2, 2004 I don't wear any type of croakies at all with my Gatorz (I wear "ice"). They stay on just fine held only in place with my PimpDaddy Mindwarp. Same for my Optik Illusion. Never had a problem with Gatorz coming off my face.
AndyMan 7 #12 November 3, 2004 I use a pair of croakies... but it's probably unnecesary. My FlatTop-PRO is more than tight enough to hold them on. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
