Anyone ever have an Estranged family member take out life insurance on you hoping for a payday?

Recommended Posts

I've looked into the legalities of it and no insurable interest exists.

I had heard years ago a distant family member took out a massive life insurance policy on his mother. When she passed due to cancer it was quite the payday.

I'm a little annoyed by it. >:( Seems like there is a vulture sitting on the fence waiting to pounce. >:(

Then . . . you probably don't want to take too close a look at what some businesses do regarding their employees.

On the other hand if it does, then google up the term, "dead peasant insurance."

Just curious.

If a family member did so.......would the insurance company look at you deeply enough to determine you're a jumper, and therefore charge a higher premium due to the additional risk factor ?

Don't honestly know. It's a form a harassment because it never ends. >:( It's always been one scheme or another, after another.

Often it's infuriating >:( because this person would even go as far as reporting to the police that I am armed and dangerous all the while having life insurance in place without my knowledge or consent.....

I even get this....the above post sounds crazy right.... there yaa go, now I'm crazy.

You'd just have to arrange to die in such a way that their insurance wouldn't pay out. Or in such a way that they seem complicit in their death. It'd probably be an easy conviction, since motive would be pretty obvious!
I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?

It goes something like...

So, I made several entries in my personal journal that reference you. For instance - one time you were drunk and told me "as a joke" how you could solve your financial problems by taking out an insurance policy on me and then 'helping' me into the next life. Another time, I wrote that I feared you had actually taken out a life insurance policy on me even though there is no reasonable cause for you to do so. Every once in a while, my journal has little asides about your latent violent tendancies...kicking the dog for no reason; loud, angry outbursts when drinking; road rage; pre-occupation with crime investigation shows; that sort of thing.

Did I mention that I've collected up a few things with your fingerprints on them? One is entangled in the lines of my reserve canopy in my skydiving rig. Man, I hope that thing never fails me. No telling what the investigators from the FAA might make of it. There are other little personal effects that someone who wished me ill might accidentally lose in an incriminating area. Just here and there. Just in case.

Every once in a while, I make a report to the police about someone lurking outside my place or following me on the road. I don't mention you. The fact that I know you are 'out running errands' at the time seems relevant, though.

Man! I really hope you get to collect on that insurance policy. Did you know that they pay off if the insured person lives to be 100? I bet you are hoping I live that long as well, huh?
I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Hi David

My B-in law is a state inspector for the state of kentucky. In the cosmetology dept.

He got involved with the Asian community working in the beauty parlors, and was messing with their rice bowl. So they started following him, had a talk with him, tried to give him gifts.etc

I considered taking a policy out on his butt, that was about 3 yrs ago, now they moved his inspection area to the boondocks.

Glad I didnt waste my money on the insurance premiums, or the lotto. The dudes 15yrs younger than me.

***it's an easy matter to ask the agent to find out if any other company, or any other person, has taken out a policy on you

Thanks I'll check into that because I do not approve.

I sent an email to my attorney after I read that. I want solid proof so I can see what I can do about it, if anything.

Gee,,Did ya win the lottery and they are all after you ? Must be one heck of a story....:o

I've mentioned some of it here before. Some days I can't even deal with thinking about it because it upsets me so much and I wish my Dad was still here. This is one of those days.

All I can say is I've never seen or heard of such greed and hate in my life, the wheels of justice sometimes turn way too slowly and I'm better off not having anything to do with any them because no one should ever treat a family member with such disrespect, jealousy, hate and betrayal.

Karma is a thundercunt. :(
