JohnnyMarko 1 #1 October 16, 2014 Fuck yea! Who's going to take the day off work and join me at A-Bay tomorrow to ride the white ribbon of death?! For those that don't know (mostly everyone), A-Basin and Loveland are 2 ski slopes in CO that aren't bound by regs that dictate when you can/can't ski...so when there's snow, they're open! It's always a race between those 2 mtns to see who can open first, and A-Bay won! It's really bad conditions, as they make a crap ton of snow and push it onto one run, but still cool as hell to leave the city where it's 70+ degrees and head to the mountains and get a few turns in while it's only October 16th!! craddock 0 #3 October 17, 2014 Wow. I would definitely take off work to go if I lived out there. Been along time since I have been out there and have been stuck skiing in the Midwest with very limited vertical. I would love to put my sticks on a real mountain. I have not been out there since 2002 and hated my skis the only day I didn't board(brought that with). I love the power of my Atomic GS skis and we just don't have the hills to put them to use here.
