falxori 0 #6 July 14, 2004 well, it looks like ,errr, a helmet hard to say just by looking at it, but it has an inner pocket for audible which i like. they have a single point ratchet and chin cup which is also good. dont like the paint jobs on their website but that just me. also i'm not sure how much "wind protection" it gives because it doesnt have that elastic band some helmets have, but i really can't tell. price looks good. i guess you'll soon find out... Brumby 0 #12 July 14, 2004 Its Black with red drizzle on it. If you go onto the composite designs on the Headshield website its on there. My jump suite is red & black so thought it will go well together!

BBKid 0 #15 July 14, 2004 I saw their stand at the AGM this year, and they looked like rock-solid, comfy lids. The elastic band thing isn't really a problem since the point comes down over your forehead. Personally, the shape of them isn't my thing, but a ratchet chincup is v. good. The price I thought was a bit high too, since for only a resonable amount more you could get a 2K Composites helmet, but like I said, the Headshield lids look solid! I was just chuffed to get a second hand Aviator for £60!!! P.S. I'll be up at Peterlee this weekend - assuming I can sort out my car - just say hi any time, but don't get in front of me if I'm headed to the bar! Chrisky 0 #18 July 15, 2004 Sorry, did you look at the link at all? It doesn't look like a ProTec at all! And it doesn't look cheap (just looked at those sweet pimpin' liner options...) mr2mk1g 10 #20 July 15, 2004 Quotesince for only a resonable amount more you could get a 2K Composites helmet 2k helmets are £90 + vat... Have them add a chincup for £25 and you have the equivalent of the freedom plus. unless VAT went throught the roof that's still a lot less than £
Brumby 0 #21 July 15, 2004 The helmet its self was £125. That includes vat and chin cut etc. However, i chose to get a composite design which was £35 then a £10 delivery.
