you can buy a brand new PC101 for same price from dbuys.com so i would have to say (IMO) it is not a fair price (newer model, brand new)....other than that i am not familiar with pc3....i have no complaints with my pc101 (other than forgetting to turn it on occasionally - no comments needed from psw or freakous).... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i tried that when i got my second audible, too many beeps....i jump them set at the same alititudes now..... you get 3 warnings and you know where you are during each one, and if one of the audible fails you will still be getting the warning from the second audible at the altitude you expect it.....my $0.02 --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i haven't run into the problem yet, but i have heard that it exists from the folks at the SkyRanch...the problem lies in something new that Sony did with the 101, and from what i was told the cameye folks are working on it, but right now there is no solution....take this with a grain of salt, i have the back of my dbox cut out allowing access to the camera, so i never shutdown when i am in the plane and subsequently haven't experienced this problem.... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

transitions should be approached like when you first learn freeflying....by yourself in the air! it's no good if you try to transition to hd, cork, and get pummelled by someone...muscle memory won't do a thing if you are in the hospital b/c a human missile impaled you at 150+mph! imo --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!
