  1. Yes there is a new bridal that looks not fully cocked, but it is.
  2. Full face helmet on a tandem skydive is total bullshit.
  3. I need a count on full time active instructors in our sport.Week end warriors not included. Its time we stand up to have our own Play house. All those part timers and armatures are messing up our sport of skydiving.
  4. Fundraiser to keep our active full time Skydive Instructors and Tandem Masters alive in well in our today’s sport of skydiving that’s on its way to hell. USPA&UPT are welcomed to fund us.
  5. I need a number or count on active full time skydive instructors and tandem masters currently in the United States of America. We are building our own playhouse.
  6. True to that...Burble should change his skydiving True to that, well put my friend.Burble’s should change his own skydiving skills so he doesn’t have to chase AFF students through the sky and in danger them...lmao
  7. I know frosty and had the pleasure to work together for a while. One of the coolest TI around back then.Still pulled of some tandem stand up landings when he wanted to,and all the young kid TI’s had a stupid look on there faces. I heard he retired age 73 with 17.000 tandems under his belt. ”NOTHING SAD ANOUT THAT AT ALL”
  8. Back strap and y-strap sure proof their point.
  9. The finer points of the tandem business.182 tandem jump vs a turbine tandem jump: When is the skill level reach by an TI to jump at 8000ft exit altitude vs14500ft.exit altitude. And when will the TI start jumping with hand-cam. Considering TI has only turbine tandem jump experience.
  10. Safety has taken the back seat for sure at lots of DZ's. I am a full time year round instructor and my experience and stories at DZ's are true but I'm not out to start any kind of pissing contest with anyone. DZO/ chief instructor or lead tandem master of a DZ, needs to qualify the needed experience and skill level of a new employee. to many DZ's are unsupervised and do not meet our industry standards. But the current rating standards feed these DZO with a skydiver, that holds a tandem master rating under the following: 500 jumps/ three years in the sport of skydiving, coach rating and TI training are done together in a few days time to a week. Safety just took the back seat.....!
  11. I agree with you on all accounts.Thank you again. Skill set and current skydiving standards are at a record time low at this point at most DZ's.I get around lots and see what's going on.Its a disaster I can just say at this point. The goal here is to get our tandem skydiving business back under control.
  12. Skill set for either aircraft is the question here.....and do we need to add or integrate the huge differences in our tandem training?
  13. It appears to me that the reserve side instructor isn't flying his slot.So the main side instructor is doing all the work. Reserve side looks to just be hanging on for the ride.
  14. Thank you very much for your reply. Its a great help.
  15. Tandem master rating new thought! tandem master certification: turbine aircraft (13000ft and above) vs 182 cesna (8000ft and above) Question....is there a difference to consider when getting a tandem rating.
  16. Rush cube ? lone star ? Good luck to you in making further decisions for yourself in our sport of skydiving.
  17. Community and family....exactly! and agree on all accounts. How can we improve our DZ work environments ? But can't clearly reach out to everyone that's part of this family without having to be concerned with (dirty laundry)
  18. Ok,great!!! looks like no one has the balls to step forward on this matter.
  19. Personal issues with an DZO don't count. Its the guys with a clapped out 182 and a couple of old tandem gear to look like the biggest drop zone in the region.Just some more info needs to be out there for the professional skydive instructor to avoid subpar outfits running cheap daily deals and waisting our time and money and use you.
  20. Where and how could I find a listing for DZO that a proffessional skydive instructor must avoid.
  21. John Leblanc, fly like a pro, that's where I heard the sweet spot expression for part of a flair the first time.
