  1. Did you carry your coffee table and rug outside just so you could show off the legwing better? If so, that deserves epic kudos LOL,:) It was a kitchen table bench seat actually. Go big or go home..right :) Base# 1638
  2. Pic of my Viper :) It's huge! http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj216/r1doc/DSC00131_zpsaca31d09.jpg I'm planning on flying this beast Monday when I get back in town as weather sucked last week in KY. Base# 1638
  3. Martijn put some "GO" in the Venom. Nice :) http://paralog.net/ppc/showtrack.php?trackid=12849 Base# 1638
  4. That is just sick! Great job! Base# 1638
  5. That was my videoed V4 performance run. I had a tail wind of 18kts at altitude on that run. I determined the wind from the difference b/t indicated airspeed from the plane and GPS ground speed soon before I left the aircraft. Once I left the aircraft I had a really fun time :) Base# 1638
  6. Yes, the foam is non-removable, but nice b/c it stays in place and does not rotate easy. I noticed a slight performance gain on runs trying to max out horizontal speed. The arm wing to me felt more solid at speed. Base# 1638
  7. I agree with Jarno. I have about 20 jumps on my P3 (with performance foam) and feel overall the suit flies more precise in addition to a slight performance gain. Base# 1638
  8. Hey guys, I have a P3 proto and love it :) 15 jumps on it so far. New changes per the PF Website: The Phantom 3 replaces the established Phantom 2 wingsuit and has the following new features: • Corrected trailing edge shape on arm & leg wing • Additional rib added on the leg wing, smoothing out the trailing edge on the leg wing • relocated inlet design on arm & leg wing • streamlined patterns for the body and lower leg • optional performance foam in sleeve for smooth leading edge I actually feel it flys slightly smoother than the P2 and with the performance foam in the arms the speed on performance runs feels faster (did some at Elsinore this past week). I will hopefully do some FlySight runs in the near future to compare to runs from my P2 (hopefully with similar conditions). Definately nice improvements over the P2. Just my 2 cents :) Base# 1638

The logo is different from the N4S one. It's a thin vinyl like material that was printed from a EPS file. It was sewn into the suit. It will last longer than i will live and it really came out very detailed and the colors were true to the original logo design. The other designs were colored fabrics (parapack) that were sewn in as well. Base# 1638

Supergirl rocks!! She takes care of business :) I know the comments were not toward me. No worries. I just commented to let people know Phoenix-Fly is very serious about good customer service. Robi, Macca and the whole PF family would not have it any other way. Base# 1638

As a dealer I'm an advocate for your order so nothing falls throught the cracks, I'm a point of contact to deal with situations when the factory is busy making suits, I make recommendations for suit choices (especially for less experienced WS pilots), and yes as a dealer I can work deals; especially with group buys. There was an issue with dealers in the past doing that but I would tell you that is not the case now. When someone buys a PF wingsuit through me it get submitted to PF the same day as long as it's financially squared away or a plan is discussed. I can confidently tell you that most (if not all) Phoenix-Fly dealers have similar practices, or submit orders within a reasonable amount of time. If you suspect otherwises contact Macca. 15. From the wingsuit perspective both the Pilot (100 WS jumps) and the Safire2 (200 WS jumps) are great canopy's. I would say they are similar in flare power and flying performance but different in opening. Yes the safire2 has more snivel than the pilot but not in an uncomfortable way to me. I have never had a hard opening with the safire2 no matter how quality my pack job (or packers) was and even when I deploy in my wingsuit in full horizontal flight (sometimes 120-130 mph) I still don't have hard openings. The negative of the opening if there is one is line twists can occur more (in a wingsuit) if your packing is off (or deployment body position) because you are in the deployment phase longer with the snivel (but this was not that common still). Sometimes I was able to give gental imputs to the risers during the snivel to get out of them. The pilot has less line twists as the opening is faster but still very comfortable. I have had 1 or 2 hard opening ( so really very few out of 100) from full wingsuit flight from a crap pack job. That's my experience with them. Either way there both exceptional for wingsuit flight. :) Base# 1638
  16. I had 200 wingsuit jumps on my safire2 170 before I downsized to a ZPX pilot 150 (which I like just as much). The safire2 has great openings, flying characteristics, and a huge amount of flare. I have jumped a sabre2 in the past and it had a slight more sporty feel but felt better openings was more important for wingsuit flying as that's all I do now. You can't go wrong with a safire2. If you don't go with a safire2 the pilot and storm are great alternatives. Just my 2 cents :) Base# 1638
  17. Just for FYI: I used my Flysight last Febuary for about 5 performance runs at Elsinore when I first got it and never had a problem. Actually I never have had a run not record in the 6 months I used the Flysight before I went on my vacation to Afghanistan. Also, Spot occasionally uses his Flysight and as far as I know never had an issue. It likely has to be a "freak" non-consistant occurance based on past use of the Flysight unit at the same location. I guess for the next competition other GPS units could be present to prove there is an issue with the Flysight units if the same issues come about, but I think it is unlikely. Base# 1638

  19. My V4 is form fit and not winter cut. I am able to still fit under armour cold gear under the suit to stay warm. On really cold days on any of my WS I use the under armour cold gear base 3.0. I have jumped in 20F degree weather (-15F degrees at altitude) with a full face helmet and my only complaint was my hand (with gloves). Congrat's on the new V4 and welcome to the club :) Base# 1638
  20. I don't get it Spot where are the balls in the banner. I must be missing them bc they have to be there. How can you have a competition without balls. Atleast put some small balls in there...... I'll keep looking.... Base# 1638
  21. A gust of wind in Afghanistan blew sand in my eye today. Hugging a beachball might have helped. Base# 1638
