  1. A better solution is to avoid 2 out situations, I know.
  2. Well, by first ride on a 7 cell, or an F111 canopy was a reserve ride. I load my reserve at about 1.4-1.5. I landed off and stood it up. Actually I was wishing that the reserve was loaded a little more, it would have hooked better :P
  3. dude, you're going to be 10 MINUTES away from the DZ, You can rent gear there, you may need to do a check jump with an AFFI because you aren't current and don't have a license, if you had a license the ISP says that a coach can do a recurrency jump with you (probably cheaper). If you're nervous about jumping with other people, just do and do a couple of solos.

    question

No, your membership and license number are different. You will always have the same membership number, but each license that you earn will have a different number.
  17. Huh? If you knew on the ground you'd fix it. I was referring to what you'd do in the air. Personally, I teach that if you have sufficent time and altitude to cut away from a PC in tow.

    Giving advice

When people ask me for advice, I generally recommend that they give up the sport.

  20. Just float the pilot chute and make sure that it catches air before folding it. Personally I do this 3 times during the pack job, once immediatly after cocking it, once before putting the main in the bag, and a third time before folding the pilot chute. Here is something else to think about: Would you chop a PC in tow?
