Formerly Adventure Center Skydiving, now known as California Skydiving Center. What k-dub speaks is true, however it works a little bit neater than that... the million foot package is actually used by the foot, so you are not actually charged for a 15k every time you jump... the deal works out to $1/1k of altitude, so if you jump from 5k, it's $5. 7k=$7, etc.... Altitude can also be used for gear rentals, should you need to borrow a rig or if you decide to rent a wingsuit. It's actually a very nice deal, and it has not been uncommon lately for people to buy more than one at a time... You may want to ask Joe about that. He said the by the foot was going away. Adventure Center Skydiving sells a million feet of skydiving for $1000, which works out to $15 a jump. You get 67 jump tickets to 15k for $1000. I've also heard that Byron has $15 jumps on Fridays Adrenaline is my crack DPH #3 D.S. #16 FAG #12 Muff Brother #4406

I've been responding to them with the cost and a link to the DZ site. There have only been two responses so far. I honestly didn't think I would get any. It was more of a joke more than anything else. I was feeling a little spunky at the time I posted it. And I am letting them know that they aren't my type, but if they still want to go skydiving to let me know. If nothing else, at least they would still have their minds blown. I am an avid fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through their Team in Training (TNT) program. I made a fundraising arrangement with my DZO. For every tandem/video/AFF referral I send his way, the DZO will contribute varying amounts to my fundraising efforts. So far I've sent two tandems with video and two AFF graduates his way which as resulted in $270 towards my fundraising efforts so far. I started another thread the other day about men being intimidated by my skydiving and I made the comment that maybe I should post on craigslist asking if any hot guys wanted to go skydiving. A lightbulb went off. If any men actually respond and are serious about it, that's more referrals for me and more money for LLS. So I posted the ad on craigslist yesterday and have gotten a couple of respondents that seem to be legitimately interested. I'm laughing at myself because I do have standards when it comes to men, but I'm looking at some of the responses and thinking, "he'll do" (when he normally wouldn't) just because I want the contribution from my DZO. I kind of feel like I'm pimping myself out. I train for half marathons with team in training which is part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. TNT also has a tri team program. I know this isn't your cause, but they do offer free coaching in exchange for fundraising. You should also check with your local fitness centers. Some of the ones here offer tri training programs. The easiest way to describe it is that it is like dialysis. Your hooked up to a machine that takes blood from one arm, filters it through the machine taking the cells they need and returns the unused blood back in the other arm. Its pretty amazing stuff. Is there anyone in the Sacramento area that would be willing to loan the Gimpy Girls (VanillaSkyGirl, k-dubjumps, OlympiaStoica) a golf cart during the American Boogie? Or know of someone who would be willing to? Anyone have any contacts at a local golf course or one of the local golf cart dealership/rental (there is one in Lincoln) places? We all have varying degrees of breaks and sprains, but will be there to partake in the shenanigans and a golf cart would help tremendously!!
