Why the hell would they take out the effects option in iMovie 08? It is in the older versions. Bummer. I cannot add the slow motion (or any speed effects) exit shot after the normal one. Is Final Cut Express 4 worth it to get for the extra effects, like adjusting clip speed (slow motion, fast motion, etc). I found it on eBay for $100!!!!

I am a libertarian. I wouldn't say violent anarchist but i believe in little to no gov., less regulation, pro choice on everything, less laws not more prisons, etc. Now if you look at every single complex society in civilized history, every single on of them has collapsed. And not to sound Hollywood but ours will too. It will happen. When? Shit, I dont know. But based on our current progress maybe within a few hundred years or sooner... I really dont know. The Olduvai Theory and Malthusian Theory talks about the collapse of industrialized civilization and food depletion and we are on track with most of it's predictions. So anarchist.... kind of but not really. Lol. . I think we need a reset button. Will it be a disaster...? fuck yeah. It wont be pretty. But maybe thats what we need. So, I really dont think about the inevitable day of anarchy... but remember anarchy does not involve violence. Then it is chaos. The hopes of anarchy is utopia but we are innately violent and greedy for power and other delusions soooo I guess dystopia is all we have to work with. I think most people would be cowering and scared. We are so used to conveniences and easy way outs. The strong are the only ones that are supposed to survive. I mean we have found ways with technology, medicine, etc. to allow the vast majority of humans to survive and thats why we are wayyyy past carrying capacity with 6.7 billion people. Pretty crazy. I just think we need less government, less reg., less laws. But the anarchy is inevitable..... I just hope not in our lifetime. And you're right. I think a lot of people want the reset button but we truly have no idea of what will happen WHEN that day comes. I think it's going to suck!!!!!! Take a look at Somalia!!!! Kind of scary. I vote libertarian. My actions dont change to support the flavor of the week. I believe in true liberty, something we have not had in along, long.......... never.

What time zone do you guys fall under? I was just talking with a friend who was telling me you have your own but then maps show that your whole state is a part of central zone and then other maps show that your primarily eastern zone with the two upper and lower left corners of the state in central zone. I served in the Navy for 5 years and although I don't support our countries conquests and pointless wars the Navy or Air Force is a good place to start. You get paid more in those two. Base pay always stays the same, but the Navy and AF have more incentives and entitlement pays. The best part is while you are active duty you ca go to school FOR FREE. It's called tuition assistance. If one is smart then they'll get their BA or BS while they are in for free and then use the G.I Bill for graduate school.

Carl Sagan estimated that 95% of the population of Adults in the U.S are scientifically illiterate. And perhaps the last scientifically literate president we had was Jefferson. Pretty sad. If people understood things in the scientific world then more things would be done, instead of trying to do things for something that is going to happen anyway (like warming and cooling periods). There is a big difference between REAL science and pop culture science!!!!

no. the stereo will not even turn on. just the lights of the buttons of the stereo blink at a set pace

I have a 2001 Ranger 4X4 XLT and the stereo and all the lights on the deck keep blinking at a synchronized rate. Obviously there is power getting to the system so it's not the fuse. Does anybody have any ideas, theories what could be causing this? I need to fix it cause i am selling it. It, is just the stereo. Everything else works beautifully. Thanks.

i dont "work". I dont do the traditional 5 days a week B.S and i wont pay taxes. I work here and there. 10-20 hours a month. Very relaxed. And the government DID NOT create religion. Any idiot knows that. In fact our government was originally supposed to be separated from the church but somehow it got infused in there somehow. Now yes, many governments in the 1st-6th century added to religious texts for control, but as far as I know the U.S has not meddled with it at all. I said, and learn to read man, people turn to made-up religions, no matter when they were made up as there are always new ones coming up, AND government figures. In no way did I say gov. made up religion. That is silly and would never come out of my mouth.

Well, for one, I have a degree with an emphasis in religious anthropology. So, I like to be thorough. And it can go on for days. The idea of religion is deeper and darker than most people can fathom. And I just wanted to make myself clear about the other stuff. So people dont think they are paying for my needs, when clearly I examined my needs versus wants a long time ago and have led a life of minimalism since (with the exception of skydiving, I LOVE IT TOO MUCH TO GIVE UP!!!)

the USA was declared a nation in 1776, and the first religions stemmed from animism (animal worship) into paganism (polytheism) between 5000-7000 BCE. But what I am saying is that people have ZERO self reliance. Here in America for instance they believe one of many birth-death-rebirth deity stories that was adjusted and pencil whipped for social control of Europe in the 1st-6th centuries. So, instead of think for themselves they turn to that cause they cant think logically and realize that it is just us here and every action we make will affect us in one way or another. And you do not support me. I have no bills, no debt and living in Hawaii no car needed. So, I make what I can as a massage therapist, I dont use my Anthropology degree. I am completely self sufficient.
