  1. Why bother to read it then or respond?
  2. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/12/17/there-s-little-we-can-do-to-prevent-another-massacre.html Maybe this is more your style?
  3. http://www.policeone.com/active-shooter/articles/2058168-Lt-Col-Dave-Grossman-to-cops-The-enemy-is-denial/ Here is an interesting view point.
  4. Did you really expect an impartial post when the subject specified "My view"????
  5. More laws don't make us safer. In fact laws don't make us safer. They just allow us to prosecute those who do things that society has deemed as wrong. Banning guns or only certain types of guns won't stop mass shootings from happening.
  6. Not sure what point you are trying to make? My point was to Kallend/Captain Obvious.
  7. Everyone has an agenda, even you.
  8. That's what politicians do, take advantage of any situation and put to a political use.
  9. In which post did I do that? Are you imagining things again? It was implied by your apparent support of Obama. Only in your imagination. Where did I say I supported drone warfare? I asked Shredex how he would prosecute the war since he criticized Obama's handling of it. Your statement implies that Obama is handling it correctly and drones seems to be a big part of how Obama is handling the war.
  10. In which post did I do that? Are you imagining things again? It was implied by your apparent support of Obama.
  11. Should I be impatient like you and say I am waiting for your answer to my question?? Actually I don't really care what you say. I can't think of any good answer.
  12. And continued and expanded by B. H. Obama How exactly do you think the current CinC should be prosecuting the war? DETAILS please. He shouldn't be prosecuting the war. Pull back the drones. Pull back our troops. More drone warfare is not the answer.
  13. I don't think I could disagree with you.
  14. I agree with you. A quality belt is just as important as a quality holster.
  15. I really question the effectiveness of the "Israeli Technique" in carrying with an empty chamber. In a high stress situation I think it's highly likely that it wouldn't work well no matter how much training is spent on drawing and chambering a round. I carry a Glock 26 with a round in the chamber. It requires me to be more careful with handling the gun. In a high stress situation chambering a round is just one more thing I don't have to think about. A good holster and belt is a must for anyone carrying a gun especially carrying with a round in the chamber.
  16. I use a Galco King Tuk for every day concealed carry. It's very comfortable. I mostly carry it with my shirt tucked in over the top of it. That reduces the ability to draw the gun quickly, but it's virtually undetectable and that is very important when working in an office. My everyday carry gun is a Glock 26.
  17. Unions have a long history of violence. The Roosevelt administration supported the unions and their violence.
  18. Yeah, I agree. A 'May Issue' is better then nothing. IF the 'May Issue' is equivalent to a ban which is likely then they will back in court. I don't really understand why Illinois is so screwed up. I grew up near Chicago and the gang violence is really bad even in the suburbs. Their gun laws haven't worked. Having a 'Shall Issue' concealed carry has been proven to not increase gun violence. I live in Texas and have my CHL. I carry nearly all of the time.
  19. If Unions are so great then they shouldn't have any trouble keeping members. Freedom of choice is always a good idea.
  20. I expect them to draft a law that makes it as difficult as possible for citizens to carry concealed.
  21. CHL holders have an incentive to abide by the law if they want to keep their CHL.
  22. Yes, but it's been a slow process spread out over many years. We have seen the gradual devaluation of the dollar and the slow, but steady rise in cost of everything. People have been having to cut back and skimp a little more each year. Now imagine what would happen if a couple of trillion dollar coins were issued and Americans were forced to make all these adjustments over night? I'm sure the press would do there best to shield Obama, but it might be hard sell even for Chris Mathews if people were hit by such a huge shift almost over night. Yes, you are right the difference is in the speed. I think the end results will be pretty much the same.
  23. They pretty much are doing that already when the FED monetizes the debt. Whether the FED creates lots of dollars by buying US debt, MBS's or mints a new coin and calls it a trillion dollars it's pretty much the same thing.
