I think the series was Ripcord?? Not sure if Raquel was in that one. Here is something interesting, Raquel was 22 y/o and it was either her 1st or second movie which had a skydiving scene. Hollywood contacted the FAA and they contacted my father to help with the scene. I believe it was Phathom??? Long story short, after my father passed I found 3 reel to reel case's (18mm i think) and had them converted to SVHS. It was some jumps from 1968 and about 10 minutes of Raquel, my father, and John Berke, man was she Hot!!! Jerry presented her with a bikini (looked more like a bra and panties to me) and she loved it. Really cool stuff. Thought I would share that.

I did say gear check didnt I? I basically was saying that my helmet is on and I am ready to jump when someone is leaving the A/C for a HNP. And yes a gear check was done before boarding, so in a nut shell I agree. I just thought it was a good idea and kept doing it over the years. To some it may seem anal, but ya never know. Hopefully I will never need to be "ready to jump".

Same goes for me!! Something else I do is for Hop N Pops. If there is a H N P on my load I get ready to jump while the low jumper does too. Gear check, and helmet and goggles are on. My father taught me that many years ago, I asked him why and he said: If someone is leaving my A/C I am ready to jump. If something goes bad I am ready. As we all know exiting can be a dangerous time. I have never forgotten it and I teach it.

News Update The website is at least some what operable!!! The is some new information on it. Hotels, Maps, Aircraft and Sign up links. It isnt perfect but it is a major improvement.... You may use it to sign up for the event of your choice, Pink Mafia, Pink Patch, Ballons etc.. Just go to the EVENTS page and click away!!! The SCR list is on this site already so I will let it be. No website, not sure of the cost? but they do supply a few of the manufacturers (skydiving)

I can speak for my 1000th jump, we had 13 SCR/SCS on that jump. (experienced jumpers dont read into this they were not 13 A license holders, what ya think I am crazy!!) It was a 28 way formation load, the maggots were mostly FF with 200 or more jumps, almost none of them had done an 8 way or a formation load. 26 out of the 28 made it in, great dive, that was also my RB jump thus the birth of Presto R. So who can top that!!??? SCR jumps can be a blast but they can get weird if you have too may newbies and not enuf experienced. Be careful out there, eager young minds.... Cant wait for more maggots, must find maggots....

First of all is it NOT a 12 pack it is a case...that is 24 in case you British cant count!!!!
