[ Ok folks I need your help for some much needed stats, please, please We need to know who are repeat supporters of SF. I added the year at the end of the names of the ones i know about. I am sure i missed a few. Could you send me a PM with the years you attended and I will update the list at one time????? This type of info helps assist in future planning and helps me with a prize ideal i want to do. BTW SF started in 01, so I will always know how many years we have been doing this. ex. this is our fifth year and its 2005 (for those of you who may be fair to partly cloudy this morning in the brain) or my bad explaining. Growing up in the sport in the 70's playing "cutaway" really screwed me up later in skydiving. shot 1/2's, blast handles, sos, pvc, rol, hand destroy, throw out, red, metal... what did i miss? Because i took my time committing to jumping, 1st jump in 1984, then my 130th in 1993. I was totally confused on which handle does what. So i came up with this "Right Now"...."Left Last" Now I dont even care what color or shape it is. Some day I will get to use it, i have reached a few times but never had to yet. Carry on....

1st not a dealer, second where did you get your info PD? Show me Who says....you.... Let me see, their product is exactly that... individual needs.. Why do you think they have so many line/styles of canopies? Huh maybe thats why they are the leaders... Their Demo program is probably a MAJOR cost for them, they cant and shouldnt have enough demo's to supply every phone call that comes in. If the canopy you requested is out, wait your turn. they will get it to you. Hope you get a chance to work it out with them, they rock!

Not if I can help it During the last 4 SkyFest's I have made only 12 jumps....9 of them were at the first year which was actualy the Jerry Schrimsher Memorial Boogie then it became SkyFest. So what can i do to slow you down...its my turn to play.....not fair

Someone pointed out to me a long time ago that scuba divers that had vanity plates tended to get their cars broken into. Since then I've refused to put anything jump related in plain view on my car and I dumped my vanity plates. Huh? None of my families vehicles have ever been messed with. Well except my truck, paid it off two years early and it got hit in the side of the bed twice three months later while it was parked! First time was at a hotel during the last Quincy. Never thoght about personalized tags being a target. Maybe get one that says "POLICE"

Ok slight change to the plate, you knew it would happen. But mine is JJJUMP , TX, OK, MO, and soon FL are the states i have it in (still have old plates) My fathe had USPA IE since 1972 and now my mother has it. He saved every year of renewal plates so we have a stack of them all the way back to 1972 and all In Texas. good thread, hop ei didnt change it too much

The World Record for the largest SCR Ceremony is held by SkyFest 2003(our third year) which is 23 maggots on their knees! For those who do not know an SCR is designed to help the upcoming jumpers get some RW experience with up jumpers. The goal is to complete a successful 8 way star formation. Thus usually being the upjumpers first time (maggot). back in the 60's it was a very tough skydive! On second thought some of the up jumpers I have jumped with still make it tough Lets beat that this year at SkyFest 05! July 14-17 at SD Saceland I also have a personal record I would like to obtain. I have 86 successful SCR's that I have organized that i can positively identify in my logbook. I would like to hit 100 at SkyFest 05.. DZO's or LO's if i may suggest to assign someone at your DZ to organize the SCR's and then wait till SkyFest to do the ceremony Sat. night. To those new maggots a few rules for you : If you were unable to get your SCR prior to SkyFest no worries, we will have a sign up sheet and we will be knocking them all day Thurs, Friday and 1st half of Saturday. We gotcha ya covered! You may not poor beer until you have been through the ceremony. You must bring a case of drinking beer and a case of cheap beer for the ceremony. Send in your application to Bill Newell and get your number and patch, the cost is only $20.00 and that price has been the same since day one.
