Great video Dennis! You can make any one look good
  3. Oooooh, I'd love them! And you probably did see my car by the shower house...I got to the DZ late and just went to bed with one good looking, well dressed man!
  4. I'll play this weekend: the smile can't be big enough even though i didn't jump:0:0 Bo,you were out this weekend? Boo, I missed it. Was out at the DZ friday around 8pm, but got a call from a friend, so went to the burbs and drank with him and a few other DZ regulars, then made it out to the DZ around midnight...so we ruled the bar! Everyone else had left by this time...Drank so much, we were drunk dialing people at 9am, after, we had gotten some sleep. Back to the burbs cuz that's where enzo's car was and he had to go to a wedding, passed out on my friend's bed (alone, he was still at the DZ). He showed up with his roomate around 3 and we did non skydiving things . Sunday caved it at the DZ. Next weekend I'll be itching to jump. But wow, what a great weekend.
  5. i think that if the TSA showed a compelling interest for using the chips, they'd be fine...but if there's no compelling business interest, then they really can't legally use them.
  6. ok, so i'm semi bored working on my government regulation homework, and the question i have to consider is the legal possibility (in the employment sense) of making a human chip implant a condition of employment for all TSA employees who screen passengers and their carry-on bags for commerical flights that originate in the U.S. TSA explains that this condition of employment would be imposed for national security reasons. This assumes that 99.8% of all employees could tolerate the implant without a rash or other medical reaction. What are your thoughts on this? Mine initial thoughts are, that they couldn't require it as a condition of employment (violating rights to privacy, ADA, and Title VII to name a few) and two, that current and potential employees wouldn't like this. DISCLAIMER: As far as I know, this is a hypothetical situation that's being used for my class midterm. I have no knowledge if the TSA is actually considering this.
  7. Tempting, very very tempting...
  8. oooh, making brownies sounds like a good idea liz! i need some new excuse not to do my homework!
  9. I'm good :) Just got back from Moab, man was that fun :) Going to SDC this Sat if anyone wants to jump :) Blue Skies Liz!
  10. My parents tell me I'm in it for summerfest and the womens VRW camp. I think I'm in a pic with Missy, Amy, and Kristen doing freestyle...My names in it also for my coaches rating. don't know pages because i haven't gotten it yet. I'd think Weegirl would be in it too for the camp?
  11. Humm, I don't usually post, but I have some experience with this, so I'll give ya my 2cents... Pros: Things to do, way to met new people, potential useful connections, a way to gain leadership experience, to name a few Cons: HUGE time commitment, can be expensive, some bullshit things that are required, being fined if you don't do certain things (ie. participate in rush or other events)... Many people are surprised to find out I was in a sorority. It was one of the best and not so best decisions of my life....I have met some wonderful people because I joined a sorority, one of whom is one of my best friends who I hope to stay in contact with for a long time. My sorority never hazed, never degraded me. There were never older girls screaming at me to do things, in fact, the older girls were very welcoming and knew who I was even if I didn't know who they were. The girls in my chapter are very supportive of each other and welcome me back when I stop by to visit (i'm going to grad school where i did my undergrad). However, there can be a lot of drama, but isn't that the case with a lot of things where people spend a lot of time together? My campus is also VERY greek (20+ sororities and 50+ frats). Oh, I also live with 5 other sorority girls, though they were in a different one than me, and they are very nice girls. All in all, why not give it a shot? If its not for you, you can always find something else.
