This is Kimahri. I adopted him in 2003. His previous owner's dog had puppies and he tried to smash the pups skull's in. Two survived. Kimahri has a ridge on his head where his skull healed together funny and he has seizures from it but he's still a fantastic dog. This dog literally saved my life. He took my ex husband down by the throat to keep him from killing me. So yes, I really really agree with adopting pets. I'm the twist that turns your key....

Thats the other state we are looking out. You can still get a nice home for a decent price. I really like NC. I've lived in texas and have a "vacation home" in VA but NC is really nice. I can get to the mountains or the beach without much travel and the weather is nice. It can be a little odd sometimes but it's nice. I really enjoy 60+ degree days after a week in the 30s. I feel your pain. I live across the street from a high school. Any major event (homecoming, pep rally, the big fake wreck before prom) is loud as hell. The worst part is the football games.
