I just got home, and glad I did, because it almost didn't turn out that way. About 30 minutes ago, I'm getting on the expressway to get back home andb almost got smushed by an 18-wheeler while at the end of the on-ramp. It wasn't a "normal" on-ramp, in that it had a sharp turn from start to finish; usually, you still have some time to merge with traffic as your coming on the expressway, this one however ends right away.
