  3. Does anyone know if an all female team has ever won a medal in 4-way before this year? I was able to check back to 98 and couldn't find any. Before that I don't know where to look.

  5. Omniskore has most of Rd 4 up for Open. No change in the standings so far, 1 teams score is not up (Gravity). Fastrax and Groove remain even but black cat gains a point. GK loses a point. They just updated. Gravity messed up and got a 10. If you are not getting the omniskore updates, you may have to close your browser and reopen, or try firefox or upgrade to IE7. They are updating pretty regularly.
  6. Omniskore is way faster than the NSL site. Make sure you hit the F5 key to update the page. Round 3 is complete in AA. Go Furies. Tight race so far.

  9. Greetings to everyone who enjoyed How Not To Do 4-Way last year. Part 2 is now available. Chasing Amy moved up to A class this year which means we started working on Blocks. Which as you can probably guess led to some really entertaining skydives.   10. If you are going to the tunnel I would highly recommend a coach that knows something about 4-way. I did some tunnel coaching with Airspeed last week and it was incredible the amount I learned in just 15 minutes. I spent the whole time just working on body position and movement. The next time I got up and did a jump there was a big change in my ability to stay close and make quick and stable turns.
  11. I have that vertigo from time to time still when I am just about to climb out the door and when I am spotting. It has gotten less though the more I do it. I started jumping with a 4-way team and I am flying tail (or rear float). I had to get used to it in a hurry. It was really wierd at first to climb out and see the camera guy standing there. The worst part for me is the climb out. Once I am set and we are just about ready to go I am fine. The worst thing was when I had to hook my helmet under the bar and only hold on to the plane with the back of my neck. My hands had grips on other people. That was really a trip. When I am sitting next to the door I am holding on to something until we close that door. We have one team member who is really freaked out by sitting there and we always mess with her. Being on the team though we are out first much of the time so I have had to spot quite a bit and the float every exit. It's a different perspective and just takes time to get used to. I think if you spend 3 or 4 days in a row spotting and floating every exit it will get better.

  13. We have a rookie 4 way team at Skydive Chicago. We have competed in the NSL at 2 meets. The average number of jumps on the team is about 150. So, we had all this video of the things that you probably shouldn't be doing while doing 4way. I decided to take the video from the meet's and a couple of practice jumps and have some fun with it.   15. Vegas 4 primarily uses the CPU to do the rendering. Faster is better with Vegas. Adobe premiere does have render cards that can be purchased which speed up the rendering quite a bit. Vegas did not have the integration with the hardware. The idea was with Vegas 5 they would add this support but I am not sure if they have. For now faster processor and if possible a second processor. The AMD 64 works really well for video rendering with Vegas.
