  1. the car is paid off. 25 months down, 1 left to go. I rule. /flex
  2. I would say I prefer Dish network's menu guide to that of DTV. I find it more intuitive. As far as outages due to weather, you should talk to people in your area. I've had both providers and I've had both cut out. It's the nature of satellite. Even then, I'm pretty confident that assuming you install either provider's equipment correctly, the frequency of an outage would be the same on both sides. It comes down to personal preference. Find people who have either and see if you can check it out. Like I said, I find Dish to be easier to use. And whichever you get, get the DVR package. It costs more, but it makes all the money you spend on TV watching anyway much more worthwhile.
  3. That was the alcohol impairing my ability to proof read.
  4. How long would I be captive. And who would I be shooting?
  5. 5 decades. That's more than a couple, but "several" seems like too many. "Few" appears to be the winner here.
  6. 11. Best looking out of the designs (I'm simplistic) and imagining looking up from the ground... and down from the sky... it seems to (theoretically) offer the best contrast.
  7. I see in fine print that they have some lovely ocean front property in Bangladesh available on another auction.
  8. Now here lies the dilemma. How do we know we won't feel a thing? So the choice is possibly to feel yourself burn into ashes or feel your body being eaten by bugs. It's all so confusing. Chris By the time you are embalmed or cremated, your brain is way past dead. No brain activity = no pain. "Rest in peace" my friend
  9. Laff at how more guys are willing to put out than girls. This says something about you Andy. But I'm not sure what.
  10. My best friend's mom was in the hospital over the weekend with a stress-induced heart problem. When she got back home I was talking with her and we were discussing how stuff would be if she died. She said that whatever happens, she wants to have any good organs donated, and the rest cremated. Then the container of ashes is to be stored in a Prada bag. I thought that was pretty interesting. I'll stick to a simple cremation for now and I'll hammer out the details later as I find more significance to my life :)
  11. 2nd job will only be 3 days a week. It's an extra $200 a month in my pocket.
  12. Woke up at 8:30, started working at 9. I'm here til 5:30 then it's off to my new 2nd job by 6. Should get out of there around 10:30. Never thought I'd see the day where I have 2 jobs.

Bobbing Bobcat. Good enough for me.
  22. At least Aetna and BCBS covered my prescription without the need to pay for it out of pocket then seek reimbursement. Frankly I'll just be happy to get back under a bigger provider that is a little more... "current" with quality coverage practices. After, of course, I go 3 months w/o insurance as I actually become employed by the company I work for.
  23. Total mistake to pay for the crap I've paid for while being employed by this temp agency. The company I actually work for uses the temp firm to do most of it's hiring so for 3 months I had to work for the temp firm. Well it's been just over 3 months. During that time I was paying for medical insurance (close to $100 per month) and apparently, they wouldn't cover my 2 doctors appointments because of the primary diagnosis. (They apparently wanted me to go to a specialist as opposed to a family doctor.) And now they aren't covering my $100 blood test either. Total paid to insurance: $350. Total covered by insurance: $0. Total paid out of pocket: $240. Screwed myself. What a waste.
