  1. Hello All. Helmets are great from Tonfly. But the camera boxes SUCK Bought a box for PC330 and a box HC5 neither of the boxes fit. the PC 330 box works if you add a wooden base plate and than the camera sits tight but not perfect. HC5 box is totally useless its made for HC3. I talked to Giovani and he did not have much to say. Did not offer to refund the money basically he did not care.
  2. What was wrrong with your switch ?? I bought my first tongue switch even from them. I have to break my tongue to get it to work. Is that normal for a new switch ?? Charley

  9. Hello Marty I know for a fact that Tonfly just got a major order for CC1 Helmets for a French Skydiving School that has them majorly back logged. I Ordered 3 camera boxes 4 weeks ago. I hope to get them next week. All their colors are on the webpage that they have. I am attaching a picture of my Fuego Pro in Royal Blue with x-shut camera attachment. Charley
  10. Hi A friend of mine put his bite switch in a pacifier and has no problems with it. Its lasted him a while now.
  11. Hi I also had that problem also mine resulted from floating not enough formation speed as the team got faster my legs settled down.
  12. Here are some pictures of my camera mounted with the x-shut system. its pretty flush to the helmet.
  13. X-shut is a good mounting system, zkulls is a copy modification of the x-shut system. Take a look. http://www.x-shut.com
  14. I had the same feeling when I went through my AFF training that I did not get enough canopy control teaching. I was sticking my landing pretty good and things were working out fine but I had an obsticle that got in my way and i ended up bouncing. Spent 3 weeks in the Hospital and 2.5 months in rehab. But during this time I came up with an idea for our Dropzone / Country (SWITZERLAND). I organize a Student Jump Contest that is actually a Canopy Course. Its in its second year and it has been well received by all. Here is the link to the contest: www.nur-gezielt.ch
  15. Hello I broke my Tibia and Hip on my 86 jump. Up to that point I had consistent stand up landing. But at this landing i flared uneven and turned myself into the ground. 6 weeks in a wheelchair because of my injuries i was not allowed to put any weight on leg or hip. 4 months rehab. I was able to walk again but favored my leg. Worked really hard not to favor it. did not even think about trying to jump again until i was able to run. Able to to do other sports like play Basketball etc. I started working again after 5 months that was also a rough time at the beginning I work as a Paramedic a lot of heavy lifting walking over uneven ground etc. When I was able to all that I started jumping jumping again. My Accident was 19 July 2006 and my first Jump was 3 March 2007. Talk to instructors or people that saw the landing. Take a beginner canopy course.
  16. Well can not give you more than the links. Like I said they work fine for me. Wonder why its not working for you guys...
  17. Well Strange I can get to the page with www.x-shut.com but here are 2 more links to the same page: www.x-shut.de www.dkexe.de/x-shut/
  18. Hello The Convertor from Tonfly is based on the X-Shut which has been around a lot longer than the Convertor has. It has an established track record. The X-shut is also smaller less damage to the helmet. Take a look www.x-shut.com I have a Tonfly Feugo Pro which is a great helmet workmanship is great.
  19. Hello Something similar happened to me this summer. I came in a little to high and my first thought was to fly it out. But, DUMMY I was I tried turning to fly parallel to the landing area. We have a really small landing area that has a stream running along side it. When I turned the windsock was in my field of view and I over reacted and turned myself into the ground from about 100 feet. That was my 86th Jump and 11 Jump after I downsized to a 170. The main thing I learned from this is every time you downsize, you have to treat it as your FIRST JUMP. I broke my lower leg (Tibia with 6 screws and Hip with 4 screws both with TITANIUM PLATES.) Hope to be Jumping in May 07. Blue Skies PS Attachment is a picture of my HIP
