  1. Fun little workout today. Did 10 sets of the following routine: 15 regular pushups 15 regular situps 15 wide pushups 15 crunches 15 triceps pushups 15 atomic situps All in all, a total of 450 ab exercises and 450 pushups of various kinds. Cakewalk. Tomorrow it's a nasty swimming day, and a bunch more ab work. Still a cakewalk. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  2. Added to the swim today with 30 pullups in sets of 5 working on form. Going to do a bunch of pushups and ab work tomorrow. Should be fun. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  3. Yeah, back into the swing of things. Call it a "three week injury simulation." Regardless, I'm hitting it just as hard, with only a little pain in my right shin, a little stiffness everywhere else, but that can be ignored. Coast Guard's not gonna know what the hell to do with me. Swam hard this morning, lots of front crawl without fins working on form and efficiency. It's working too, I'm consistently around 8 minutes for my first 500yd. Anaerobic conditioning still needs some work, and running needs to be back up to speed by the end of this coming week, but that won't be an issue. Will more than likely do some ab work later today, then take Sunday off, hitting it hard again for the rest of the week. 5. Love the link. Updating what I did earlier, I did 200 flutterkicks just now to make sure I did enough for the day. So the totals are 2000yds of swimming, 300 situps in sets of 50, and 200 flutterkicks in sets of 50. Swimming again tomorrow morning for sure, just have to figure out what else I'm adding to it. 6. OK, just updating what I said before. Just finished 300 situps in sets of 50. It just doesn't seem like enough though, so I'll probably do some sets of flutterkicks after I eat lunch and walk the dog. I almost forgot how fun this routine is. 7. Good deal being back on track! Sorry to hear your son's been sick, hope he's feeling better.
  8. Hey, now that might work. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  9. I just might be...i am into some sick twisted shit!! (get it "shit", i crack myself up) Hahaha, that was awesome! j/k "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  10. Once is enough more often than you'd think. And yes, I want to know when the next date is too. That way I can live vicariously through a dz.commer. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  11. Ha, yeah, you'll definitely need more than "goon" on here. As for the next date, there never was one. It was a setup, and a bad one for both of us. That's why it's a "blind date horror story." "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche

  13. But playing nicely takes all the fun out of it! It's like in football. You might see some good hits in the average game, but when you see an absolutely vicious hit that should probably result in broken bones, it's damn good TV, and you enjoy the hell out of it unless the guy does break something. 14. True enough. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  15. So - Popeye was the same way! And he was/is and American ICON! Fuck em - They generally don't cut slack for anyone else. This is a forum - it would be pretty damn boring if we stuck to that rule. I'm so glad that you will let us have at least that.
  16. As you suggested, there is more to me than those posts. As for my criticism of human nature, I wouldn't say I'm qualified to make statements about human nature, just that I do. I don't expect people to like me for it, I've given that up a long time ago, and I sure as hell don't expect anyone to admire me for it. But yes, I am who I am, my perspective is just that, my perspective. You don't have to live with it, you can question it all you want, but it is what it is. Edit: Now back to the original point. That one hell of a blind date nightmare, or what? "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  17. No... I think he's following the story line, he's just trying to set you up by using both the "whore" term and "fat" to get you flamed by as many as possible. Don't worry, most knew what you were saying. And... it was nice of you to continue to go to the dance with the innocent bystander in that battle, I just wish that you could have gotten to actually know her as a person and not see her as a way to destroy your social standing... but as you said, in high school things can be different. Hope your luck with women has changed.
  18. I'm sure you expect me to click on that link. Sadly, I will not indulge your sick sense of humor this time around. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  19. Actually, I think it was creepy too, but they both played the role so well, it was hard not to enjoy watching it. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  20. Will do! I'm sensing a quite before the storm. This would be a good time to stock up on food and beverages. While, we do that, I'm going to think of ways to prompt him to say that it is ok for men to have many sex partners but if a woman does the same, she is a whore. After he says that, I'll try and lead him down the path of using the term, "fat chick"! Walt She's not a "Fat Chick" - get him to say weight challenged - the PC terms really piss them off more than they realise. I think there's a little bit of confusion as to what's happening here. The weight challenged chick, as you so eloquently phrased it, was not the whore. She was an innocent victim of the malevolent nature of her friend, and my former g/f, who was... a whore. After he says that, I'll try and lead him down the path of using the term, "fat chick"! Walt I would say get a life, but that might actually encourage you. So I'll just lay it out straight right here and now. I called her a whore because I wouldn't have disrespected her that much. She chose to do it to me. Therefore, whore. Are you going to tell me that commenting on human nature is reserved for "spotless" characters? Because if that's the case, there would be no commentary on human nature. Nobody's that spotless. 22. Nah, don't really buy much right now. And even if I do, I usually ignore all the holiday-related stuff. Nothing more than a marketing opportunity anyway. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  23. Hey, you pointed it out, so what's your beef? "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  24. Well, I guess you know who the nuttier one is. Anyway, great movie. One of those classic overdone "new guy on the block" stories. "If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
  25. I'm sure that at this very moment there are legions of angry women who are forming a lynch mob and burning you in effigy. "How dare that bastard refer to *any* woman as a whore?!!!" Nah, we should be sympathetic since he apparently has to pay for it. We all pay for it one way or another - it's all about "point of view" and "Cost Average" Wow, well said.
