congrats on getting your rig! for those folks at xkeys who dont drink, they buy icecream instead. Not just a little pint, but a huge gallon jug, complete with chocolate syrup, the light brown syrup, jimmies, whipped cream and anything else you can think of.. on really hot summer days that was appreciated as the beer.. afterall, theres always somebody going to the liquor store, but there isnt always somebody willing to go to the grocery store.. ahhhhmmm.. cross keys has a helicopter hanging out in the hangar and taking jumpers up on occasion.. ask manifest. or you could jump the Caravan, or the New turbine that were getting.. or the skyvan, or the stearman bi-plane, or for those low cloud cover days, the cessna.. sorry, just a bit excited cause were getting a new turbine!! whooheee! no, that doesnt sound crazy. it actually sounds normal. Most people dont like to be sick, so they write a little illness off as a 'bug' or as something else. we all want you to get checked out cause youre not playing bingo, your skydiving. Your health plays a big part in how your skydives go, and how safe you are too. this isnt going to be the last time youre crammed in a plane, and it might not be the last time that you pass out or feel ucky. maybe next time you dont pass out, maybe next time you do an awesome sitfly even though for some reason youre all over the sky... you get a little dizzy. no worries, thats what happens when youre seeing earth/sky/earth/sky/earth/sky etc etc.. so youre under canopy and now that little bit of dizzyness turns into major dizziness and maybe even some vomiting.. what do you do now? youre pretty much screwed. read some old parachutists, youll see in the IP's that some injuries/fatalities were contribuated to the persons health. get checked out. do it so that at least you know in your head that things are okay. and do it for your friends and family, they worry too. kel "i can not attest to what i did, just what i remember...." ~me, after one too many

i hope that you do get checked out pronto! it could be something serious!. were not joking around, marc knows more about this than i do, but its something medical and so a Medical person (DR) should check you out. seriously, think about it. what happens if you get the feeling in freefall? under canopy? or friggin god forbid, on final. people get seriously injured because they dont use their toggles on landing.. please get checked out. I dont want you to be coming in on final and pass out, thereby landing without breaking. Skydiving effects our bodies, adrenalin and such.. so if your body went wacko under somewhat normal conditions imagine what could happen with all the juices flowing! on a lighter note, You know youre not a student when you secure the seat next to the door cause you WANT to sit there. The jumps will be carried out directly over beautiful Sydney Harbour as a pre-promotional stunt to mark the upcoming extreme sports event. Their aim is to capture spectacular photo & video footage for use in the mainstream media promotion of the event, & also to gain val print & TV media exposure for both their sponsors & the sport of Skydiving. Damien "Damo" Atkinson of Sonic Boom will be joining iPOC Skysurf on the jumps, for the purpose of capturing outside camera footage of the team in action over Sydney. In addition Mike & Pauline hope to wear extra video cameras fixed to the board & around their body for some extreme angles on these once in a life time jumps over the City. The jumps will be made at 5.45 am & 11.00 am, on the Monday the 3rd & Tuesday the 4th of December. Landing at Anderson Park, Neutral Bay in Sydney's northern suburbs. Spectators & Media are welcome to attend the landing area to show support for the event & see some really scary landings. If you can't make it for the event, watch out for the 2001 summer games on channel Seven's Planet X TV show, & keep an eye on this site! at cross keys we had this guy named Jono who was a packer (read: troublemaker!). now, our packers are known to be loud, obnoxious, and scream vulgar things.. . all in good fun of course!

hey guys. I just saw video of a guy from arizona who takes his dog ruffus on skydives with him. His name is john, and apparently his little buddy has over 100 skydives to his little doggie life. The plane they jumped out of has SKYDIVE AZ on the bottom of it.. I remember somebody here was wondering about taking their dog on a skydive with em... it was on the Animal Channel. lemme just say this, with no background info. i recently watched a jumper with over 1,200 skydives, thats team visits many dropzones/ makes hundreds of public appearences, biff in a landing. nothing hard, hes just finally flying a zero-p canopy and hasnt quite gotten it down right. just food for thought.... April, hey. you havent been on in a couple of days. hope all is well. im working on planning my trip, but without an actual map right in front of my face with highways and stuff im not doing that well. Ive got directions printed from Map Quest but it looks like they dont believe in letting you know what friggin states youre in when youre on the listed highways. i only recognize like 3 cities cause of the exits to them. I definitially want to stop by your place, and i really want to pammi and merrick too! Pammi! Merrick! where do you guys live in Oklahoma? this is so confusing guys! i'm traveling thru the center of the US, and ive never been there! im such an east coast baby. i want to take country roads if possible.. less traffic, better view, country diners. cheap rooms. maybe a place to camp? im not looking to sit in traffic with 10 million other cars. even if the trip takes longer, i want to see the country!! it looks like im going thru Pennslyvania, st. louis, oklahoma city, amarillo. there the directions with tolls. if i go the minimum tolls way, it would be Pennslyvania, Knoxville, little rock. any suggestions?!?! any seasoned car goer's here?!?! help! i cant figure this out. thanks guys! kel "i can not attest to what i did, just what i remember...." ~me, after one too many
