Because of our ties with israel we have to maintain some sort of handle on the violence in the region. No presidential candidate will have a hands off policy when it comes to the middle east. What do you do for a living and what area are you in? Could you go somewhere else for more money? How replacable are you? Do you have a security clearance? If you are hard to replace PUSH for what you were promised and drop subtle hints that you are not happy and you will look elsewhere... If you are easy to replace you probably dont have much to work with in the way of negotiations. Dont threaten.. Keep in mind they dont really care and the only reason a project manager will give you a raise is to prevent the hassle of finding another body to fill the billet on that contract....

It does if you want to run 64 bit apps XP 64 is just another half assed release of longhorn just like server 2003... Its pointless unless you have a piece of software you cant live without that can only run 64bit.... There arent that many programs that will run on only 64 bit since software companies need to keep pace with what their end users have, so they can actually sell software... XP pro sp2... everyone pretty much has a copy and it will be good enough till longhorn comes out in 2008.
