    AFF - handycam

I need and want my hands free for the student and would never think of using a handycam - what I am using is either the the headstrap or mostly the breastmount GoPro have - gives a great pic of the student and free hands for the student :) Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  2. Hi, I'm jumping in Cirrus. In september we only jump weekends, normally, occasionally weekdays also ( i.e thursday, friday). Better for you to take a look at our calendar at www.hoppafallskarm.nu and check the dates out. We Jump normally on everyday basis during june/aug. Bring yr logbook, insurance papers and that will be it... And Yes, we will at those dates jump at Vårgårda (approx. 70 km's north of Gothenburg). Yes, we do have some gear for renting with 150, 170 and 190 main canopy. But altimeter, dytter, helmet and jumpsuit you have to bring by yourselves. 5. Sweden has lot more to offer then just the two you mentioned.. pse go to http://www.sff.se/index.php/klubbar and there you'll find the DZ's of Sweden. Jumpprices are among the cheapest in Europe, approx 15 - 19 €/ 4000 M, and most of the clubs offers bunkhouse facilities as well as Sauna for free or a nominal charge. My Club, FKCG - is moving its operation during the summer to the coastal town of Strömstad (close to the Norwegian border) due to the perfect climate and surroundings. Hop that you'll find you way around Sweden..... All best Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  6. We have had the PAC for two seasons now. It is simply perfect for tandems, freefly, FS4-way and student jumping. When it comes to larger groups there are some differences in comparison to the TO or Caravan, you cant put too many in the door. But w/o benches you can still launch a 12 - 16 way within 2 sec, with a little exit training. Economy - its all about the pricing, but to mention in Sweden we are not the cheapest and not the most expensiest either and for us it has really been a fairytale come through - so much that we for this season bought a 2nd one. We can get off ground with either 1 tandem or at least 6 - 8 jumpers inside and still earn money. Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  7. I became so sad and devastated when I got the message from Gareth, I'll surely miss you my man. I really enjoyed your company when you came to Sweden and the Herc boogie. I wish you all the best where you are now my man and that you have found your safe spot in the air. I'll miss you. Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  8. I got word yesterday that the great man had passed away, due to a email for his memorial service in texas. It is very sad to see this happened but I am glad to have know Skydog. As you say this was the man with the focus on safe and happy skydives, always giving away good vibes. The last time I met him and his swedish girlfriend, I had the opportunity to hire him as an LO at the Hercules Boogie in Sweden - and he really worked his ass off to keep his bunch ( +100 kg) very happy and satisfied. I will really really miss him and his bear hugs Wooff Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  9. In Sweden the Sigma's are quite common. But as we are not one country (EU) all parachute associations set up their own rules without looking over the shoulder to another EU-country. So the best is for you to look at every country independently as every National Parachute Association. Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  10. Have you tried SkyWin? http://www.adbekonomi.se/skywin/ It works really well for small as well as large Dz's Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"

  16. Yep, I have done 3-ways, 4-ways and 8-ways nude and I tell U it is totally different to fly your body that way... The vdo... Is done at my home dropzone - Gothenburg Sweden. It is a 21-way nude dive.... Its really awesome skydiving done by these guys and lady to put this together... I have seen other attemps from the ground, from other people, where they was happy just to get 2-3 person together. I have heard stories about bigger formations nude... But so far no evidence in pictures have been shown.. So I think that this could be a record nude skydive"!!!!! Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"

  21. As Eric wrote, yes some clubs offer this. First of all you have to be a member in that club in order to be able to buy a season skydiving pass. Stockholm, do offer that and If I don't make a misstake even Vasteras in mid Sweden as well as Skane in south of Sweden.. Best tip; get in on www.sff.se and Klubbar there you'll get in touch with the different clubs around in Sweden for more information.. Have fun.. 22. A friend of mine, his cat was so annoyed that he wasn't allowed to go with him out of the door, so the next time the b... cat peed in his Z1 helmet, lying on the floor... I can tell you, the smell wasn't good at all, eventhough he tried to wash it out.. The ones who happend to sit next to him in the plane always complained Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  23. Why dont you try this; Aero Sports Federation of China at [email protected] Hope you'll find a place.. Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
  24. Thank god, that they dont complain...How could they in such a case Why europe.. Is it so that the europeans look into matters more diligently.. Yes I think so.. But what is all come down to is, how do AAD manage their contacts and questions from different national organisations. Many of these "committees consists of skydivers like you and me, but perhaps with a deeper knowledge and interest to test and look into matters like these so that we will have safe equipment to use in the air. Then on the other hand; how deep and poking should such an investigation be. Well as long as we look into the statements of a manufacturer and try it accordingly and we find faults - of course we'll have to question them.. We just have to stay with the facts.. and the facts we know today are the statements made by AAD and they have been tried by the Austrian and Swedish Material & Safety committee and found not to comply!!!! Is it so that NO other country have tried them at all? Just bought it from the paper? We have a standard - the Cypres standard, and of course everything will be judged after this.. Which means that any new equipment has to fulfill or be even better then Cypres to really have a chance..and of course AAD knows that. So the only thing AAD really has to do, is to back up their statements with actual test reports confirming their statements..and perhaps change the technical design a bit so no one could make an error when replacing battery or open it by mistake or that moist get inside... What could be better then to have a totally service free unit for approx 20 years?? Just changing the battery..Great.. Schwede "Das Leben ist schön, nicht immer aber immer öfter"
