Thanks! Finally someone with some sense. By the end of 2007 she will be listed as the most annoying person of the year.

Same company that made the Jedei: Airtime Designs. While I owned a Jedei I never jumped a Jonathan though someone told me it was basically a non airlocked Jedei. Not sure if it had the same long recovery arc. You want a fun old parachute get a Nova. The only parachute that would pack itself. Unfortunately it did that while you were still in the air.

Furthermore it was spoken to at length by Bryan Burke during the briefing for competitors. To paraphrase he said something like: We have been doing 4 teams per pass on practice day and it has been working out so that is what we will do. There will be plane dropping competitors every 4 minutes and there will be fun jumpers on a parallel but offset jump run throughout the day. Go arounds will not be an option so be quick in the door. Again this is paraphrased from memory so I apologize for any error in it. My point is that the no second pass under any circumstance mentality was drilled in from before the meet even began. Next year with Nationals in Ottawa a long spot East will mean you are on the wrong side of the river. When that happens you may make it back but you better not have a mal or it can be another canopy gone down the river. But I have every confidence in the SDC team putting on a great event. I believe they did a 2 team 2 pass arrangement last time.

We too brought it up with the meet director and were shut down. Then when they changed jump run on round 7 so the camera would not have sun glare the spot became so bad it was a joke. I remember the sign at the loading area that said something like: Ground speed 105. There will be NO second pass. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING FOR ONE. Every other Nationals I was at has had 4 teams per plane and 2 passes or 3 teams per plane and 1 pass. The last Nationals at Eloy had 3 teams/1 pass and that even became long when it was a difficult to set-up launch. Perris has a pretty small landing area and last year our entire team landed on the grass for all 10 rounds. They knew how to do it right. Eloy is a great DZ but I agree with the original poster. The way they ran this Nationals was a disappointment.

USPA ballots in this month's issue: vote 'em out if you don't like 'em

Any word on a write-in campaign in the central region? I'd love to see that. -
Every once in a while it takes some team like the Vixens to come along and make Nationals fun again (it can be fun AND competitive). From their packing outpost with the banner "We may suck...but not at 4-way" to their 10th round antics they were a blast. Thanks girls. For the last fun team like that you have to go back to Sonic Force. Showing up with blue jeans that had grippers sewn on. Then doing 4-way only to flip a formation into a horny gorilla. There have been honorable mentions like Team Krugeraand showing up at Roger's DZ (Skydive Chicago) and competing in Open Class. But Sonic and the Vixens have a place in history.

So for me the people to vote against (or should I say not vote for) are the entire executive committee, namely: Chair: Glenn Bangs Members: Marylou Laughlin (regional NE), Madolyn Murdock, Mike Perry (regional Eastern), Lee Schlichtemeier (regional SW), B.J. Worth (As well as Jan Meyer for her action in stirring the pot) Thanks for the information.

Thanks for reading my mind. I would like to make my voice heard on this with my USPA BOD vote. The problem is I do not know who on the board was responsible for the ridiculous punishment. As far as I can tell, the only USPA director with dirt on their hands on this is Jan Meyer for her Jerry Springer investigation on DZ.COM. Does anyone know the actual board members that decided on the ban for Jacko?

Perris Voltage - Anger Management at Nationals!

Modern Apheresis machines do it with a single needle. The flow direction switches as blood is drawn, centrifuged, separated then the unneeded component is returned. To the original poster: I donate platelets 20 times a year because of the good feeling you get in saving a life. If you want money for jumping I would recommend packing or exotic dancing. Also, because of reduction in blood volume aviation activities should be avoided for 72 hours after a donation.

So since Nationals is USPA's big event, carrying that same logic to the PGA would have the US Open require that you get a set of mystery clubs at the first hole. Also, no use of the driving range ever...that would be just as unfair as a wind tunnel to practice in.

Do people that post drivel like this have jobs? More importantly, do they perform any real work at said job?
-
Unfortunately dirt and grime will be less of a problem than sun fade on that bright neon color and there is no product I know of to protect it. I recommend only night jumps.

Maybe....but at least I don't have that ugly thing on my body. Yuck. Just because you post some "body art" on the internet does not mean everyone will like it. Was that only a solicitation for compliments? I think it is ugly as shit. Maybe she can get a job working at a carnival.
