last night i was working at a show with a few buddies of mine (todd martin... and rockwell church)... i was selling merch in the hall right outside the room they were playing.. the whole back "wall" was windows and doors... anyway this girl comes stumbling out of the room to go make a phone call... she opens the door and is out there for a few minutes... all of the sudden i heard "PING" i turned around really fast and she went flying face first into the railing .. .took it out.. then tumbled down the 5 stairs that were there ... and she didnt move... so im like holy crap i just watched some girl knock herself out.. mind you im the only person out there... i ran outside and she still wasnt moving... so i did the rub the back are you ok ... she started slurring her speech and all i heard her say was "i fucked up my face" she looked up at me and her whole face was just covered in blood... it was pouring out all over her clothes and the ground... luckily i was also selling drinks and stuff for the guy running the show so i grabbed a couple of napkins and a bunch of ice and started cleaning her up. a little... she had a whole in her bottom lip the width of a cigarette ... her friends finally came out and had to con her into going to the hospital... i seriously felt like i watched a scene of a movie.. anyway the moral of the story is if you're gonna wipe out make sure you fall AWAY from the railing "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

losing a pet is one of the most awful experiences ever.. people that have never had one tend to not understand their meaning... my parents called me last year to tell me they had to put our dog to sleep cause she had like 3 seizures in a row and was no longer functioning... granted i knew it was the best thing for her but i was SO bummed out... the worst was the next time i went home and she didnt greet me at the door like she always did... just a few weeks prior i was at my parents house cause i was really sick and she slept by my feet every night she was the best... my deepest condolences to you... and if you need to talk or anything just drop me a PM "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

honestly i dont think that it matters if you're straight or gay... i think it really depends on how observant you are of people... not to say that EVERYONE falls into the same stereotypes but after a while you learn certain "typical" tendencies and its not too hard to figure out... you just have to be open to seeing them i guess.. my point being i dont think one being gay makes them have a better "gaydar"... ok im about to pass out so i'll stop my rambling nonsense.. don't stress out too much... hopefully this will be the last one for a while .. then you wont need to worry about it anymore :)... i went to 4 weddings in five weeks at the beginning of the summer and i didnt have a date to a single one of them... i was kinda bummed out at first but in all seriousness i probably wouldnt have been able to socialize and catch up as much with a date... make the best of the situation.. its a day to be happy for your friend... chin up.. things will get better "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

im sorry i dont have any advice as far as an actual tent is concerned, but reading the headline for this reminded me of best week ever this week... not sure if anyone saw it or not but they totally busted on this guy on wheel of fortune for guessing "pitching a tent" after like 3 letters or something stupid and it was hilarious... anyone else catch it? To all that have drug problems : PLEASE try and get help to stop your addiction.. i know that you may not care or think "it doesnt matter what i do to my body, its my life etc etc", however it DOES matter... there are plenty of people out there that care about you.. when you're gone its too late... and your family and friends are left with a big hole that will never again be filled, granted some day we will all end up at the end of our roads, however there is no need to rush and leave behind the ones we love on account of an addicition... i just wanted to re-state the obvious about how INCREDIBLE sir paul mccartney is!!!!! i just saw him in concert on friday, and never in my life have i seen a show like that before... ive been to thousands just from working in the "biz" but this was PHENOMINAL... he played for 3 hours... did two encores and just kicked serious ass!!! if any of you guys have not seen him and he is coming to your town... GO... buy any remaining tickets.. and if its "sold out" go on ebay or wait till the day of when ticketmaster releases more... it is SO worth it... ok that is all "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me
