  1. I probably won't return to Orlando anytime soon, but I can get to Colorado and back in under a day for about $99 I did about 30 minutes at Perris in June of 2005 and I loved it that's for sure. 2. Those pictures are awesome. I really like 888 very cool to see that shot in the opening sequence. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  3. Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  4. Sorry I should have clarified. I already have a Sony camcorder for jumping. The camera I'm getting is a Canon XT for stills while jumping. 5. It's a camera for skydiving. So I don't need it, but I want it. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  6. I'm heading to Orlando in a few weeks. I originally planned on jumping and getting 30 minutes or so of coaching in the tunnel. However I've also been camera shopping and have finally settled on which one I'll buy. If I do the tunnel time I won't be able to get the camera until May or June. If I get the camera now I won't be able to do tunnel time right now. What do you think which one would you get now? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  7. I've got a few PGPs I'll loan you. Of course I'll video from the ground. Let me know how that turns out. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  8. Yep crate training is the way I went and it worked great. Now Roxton goes into the crate when he wants to nap or at the end of the day. Now that he's older it's the only time he's in it. 9. Can you pick what prints you move to the CD or does it just dump the entire card? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  10. Made it a Clicky for you. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  11. Tonight is my favorite night for dinner. Three friends and I go to the same place, get the same waitress (Hannah is beautiful), and she knows what we want each time. 60 wings and 2 baskets of fries. It's quarter night wings and they are smoked and are amazing! "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 12. Well I'll be in ZHills in Jan and I would be more than happy to fill out an application. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  13. I did a search on Film vs. Digital and read the entire thread. I also read the thread for Digital vs. Film. With that being said these threads are both from 2004, well we are coming up on the end of 2006 and I'm thinking about putting a still camera on my head. The big question is should I go digital or film? A few things that may help you decide: -This camera will be used for fun jumps as well as tandems. -It'll be used for other things besides just skydiving; scenic shots and at sporting events. -I haven't really thought about a price range at this point. I don't know something around 500-600. -I know developing and purchasing film can be expensive so I need to take that into account if I go film. So what do you guys suggest? Digital or film and which cameras should I be looking at? Thanks for your time. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 14. I think for this discussion a definition for low turn will need to be made. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  15. Dang $300 How cold have you used that suit in? Is it good enough that you can wear just that and your normal jumpsuit in temps of say roughly 20 F on the ground? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  16. Thanks man. Yep I booked my ticket and I'm headed down there. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  17. j- Could you please answer my questions asked in Post #41 of this thread? I don't think they were answered and I'm still curious. Thanks- Another J "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  18. Just picked up an xBox360 yesterday as well as this game. Amazing. My roomie and I didn't move away from the TV for almost 3 hours. The game is awesome! 19. So were multiple employees being rude or just one that you had a disagreement with? In your first post I agreed how you could be mad, but now you just continue to whine. Don't go there anymore, I'm sure they won't miss you. You got a jump in, opened at your normal altitude, got refunded for your remaining jump tickets and left. What more do you want? Maybe they don't know yet. Hope everything works out for you. I'll be in your neck of the woods in a few weeks. If I make it down to Deland I hope to be able to meet you as well as Skymama and others. Lastly: What can USPA do about this? You said you contacted them but what action can they take in a situation (he said/she said) like this? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  20. I've never jumped at Titusville although I do plan on stopping by when I make the trip to FL in Jan. After reading this thread I decided to call the DZ and ask them if this was a rule or not. Jean was very friendly and told me that they do follow the normal deployment altitudes set forth in the BSRs. Maybe what happened this past weekend was a one time bad experience for you, which sucks but it happens. So in short Skydive Space Center does not make upjumpers deploy at 4,000 AGL. Again sorry you had a bad experience. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 21. I'm taking some friends to go do tandems in this thread. Even though you're an experienced jumper you may want to check out this thread. My Thread "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  22. FYI: I just called Deland and their website should be back up today. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  23. Thanks for the feeback so far guys. I'd love to look at Deland's website but it's still down Has anyone jumped in Titusville? I noticed they go to 18K with some of their tandems and it's also right on the coast. Thanks again for all the feedback. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  24. I'm going to Orlando in Jan and three friends are coming with me. They all want to do a tandem jump on the trip. What place gives the best bang for your buck for tandem jumpers in that area? I know this is a subjective question but I'm just looking for help. I plan to hit at least Z-Hills and hopefully Deland while I'm there, but I'm willing to go elsewhere. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  25. That's effing hilarious. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
