I just have to post this little story as a thank you. Just ebfore Christmas I was thinking about buying myself just a little present. After much thinking I decided to buy a skydiving dvd but had no clue what was out there etc etc until I got directed to Lisa at Square1. She helped me find what I wanted, made suggestions, figured out how much it would cost to send it to me here in the great white north. She even responded faster to my emails than Clay does to posts about hamsters, dogs and other small animals. It was nice to get servcie like that, I think that in the end they charged me less for shipping than it actyually cost them to send it to me. Thanks, Blues, SkyDekker PS. Nextr time please lower the declared value and mark it as a gift. Spares me those damn canadian taxes

"Well...the people I hear things about Holland from are usually Americans that visited to do lots of drinking, smoking, and carousing....So they love it..." I hate to say it, but there is so much more to The Netherlands than just those three things. Some of those americans should try and make it out of Amsterdam one day. The problem is, you have 15+ million people on a f*(%ing stamp. It is sooo damn crowded that you are always, always around people. You earn the highest gross wages in Europe, but when the government is done with your paycheck, you have close to the lowest wages in western europe. The country is run by a bunch of socialists, giving your hard earned money to anyone willing to hold up his/her hands....I am sooo happy I don't live there anymore... Freddy Heineken, the patriarch of the Heineken Family and company passed away yesterday in his house in Noordwijk, The Netherlands at age of 78. I hope there are some Ontarians lurking the boards who can help me with my question. I have done 4 SL jumps at STI outside of Barrie. Since that is a 3 hour drive from my house and I know there are (albeit smaller) DZ's closer to my home in St. Catharines. This summer I want to start and finnish an AFF program, so the DZ has to offer that option. Anybody out there have any suggestions for me???? I quit cold turkey on January 15th, 2001 at 8:00 pm, walking into the ER because I kept passing out while driving my car. After smoking more than 1 pack a day for 15 years (I started when I was twelve lighting cigs for my mother) and the nurse telling me she could not her my breath sounds because of the gargle my lungs were making, I decided it was enough. All the praise should go to my fiance who bore the brunt of my abuse during the first 6 weeks. The cravings get milder and further apart, but they are still there almost 1 year later. Now I quit smoking, I lost 40 lbs and feel great. It can be done...hang in there Chris, we are all cheering for ya....
