I have a G4 MOS which is made for smaller people. My Odyssey before hand hung over butt and put alot of the weight over my shoulders making it uncomfortable. My G4 (basically a G3 with some neat little features) hangs above my butt and distributes the weight pretty evenly over my torso. Go with the G3 you wont regret it. For those that havent seen the article in Skydiving Magazine, April 28 to May 4 there will be a swoop competition in Panama City and also fun jumpers who possess a D license will be able to make jumps the whole week from turbine aircraft and helicopters. I know of someone personally who was on a 2 way headdown dive (both fliers are awesome freeflyers who both have AD), during a transition to another dock, my friend accidently pulled the D-ring of the other flyer and deployed his reserve. He land fine and unconscious. The Reserve a PD, sustained no damage. Lesson learned: get a soft reserve handle for freeflying. I live in the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area and am curious to know if there are any BASE jumpers down here. I know we dont have bridges or cliffs, but saw some pretty high antennas up by the Broward countyline. Made my first three wingsuit jumps this weekend in Deland. I got coached by Chris Ash and jumped out and I was having so much fun that I didnt look at the spot as we were flying through the air. Chris had to fly in front of me to signal me to turn. The suit was easier to fly than what i had originally thought and it is amazing how much distance you can cover in a wingsuit. The opening wasnt as scary as I first thought, but I did find it a nuisance in taking off the wings under canopy. I made one solo jump afterwards and one two-way with Jose. I am gonna have to start saving up money so I can buy my own suit soon.
