I think there are too much people around who are rushing to buy newest WS without to know how to properly fly an "old" WS already on the market... I've seen good flyers in a Prodigy smoking people flying V1's... Also a same suit can fly really different when used by 2 different pilots, also due to their physical characteristhics... I don't think that a S3-S (or S6, how do you prefer to call it...) is a bad suit and for sure it is still a very good suit with great performances. There are too much people around who are only feeling the fashion while they should take a better training on their suits before to buy more advanced models. On the other side, me too I expected to see a totally different design by the new BirdMan suit, but this could be an intermediate step before the spring season when maybe we'll can see new models... 3,2,1,C-YA!!! From the 10th to the 12nd of March there'll be a Phoenix-Fly Big Way Training Camp on Skydive Marche DZ (Italy). James from PF will be on the DZ to help us to organize big way flocks from 2 Pilatus Porter's, to start a proper training for the Russian Meet. This will be only the 1st of a number of training weekends we'll run on Skydive Marche DZ to well prepare the participants to the Russian Flock. This 3 days event is scheduled as part of the Official Opening of the new Atmonauti Skydive Marche Fly Zone, from the 4th to the 16th of March, with a lot of people from all Europe! As usual, qualified WS instructors will be available on the DZ to run FFC's and Phoenix-Fly will have demo suits for all... I've seen this video on DVD during my BMI Course last weekend... Jari told me it was a real $hitty situation... I agree with you I'd prefer to cutaway my wings only as last option. However, of course, it depends how was the experience of the jumper with that suit... Glad the jumper walked away uneventful!
