  1. Still disgusting and self serving when you repeat it. You should be ashamed.
  2. Great example these moron administrators are providing. The kids did not cheer, it's their diploma, there is only one way this is going to end. These administrators should be punished not apologized to. How dare these dumbfucks withhold a student's diploma because of the actions of someone else.
  3. Do you have something to say about the G8 summit? It seems that only conspiracy nuts and anarchists have anything to say about these meetings.
  4. Why is this mad? It's about TV ratings, not about picking the best candidate through a steady methological process. They might pick a good one in the end but they WANT the crazies in there.
  5. Well if the sponsored people have to actually make a jump to raise the money that might be a problem.

    Speakers corner

If you log out you can go look, but don't touch. Edit: oh nevermind, I missed the last 2 posts, tell me that last one was a joke though, at a minimum you should blow away your cookies occasionally (if only to stick it to the man).
  7. Speakers Corner is there for a reason.
  8. Parents cheer at graduation, kid gets diploma witheld, the kid didn't cheer. Even after a meeting they witheld diplomas because no apology was offered. http://www.cnn.com/2007/EDUCATION/06/05/graduation.decorum.ap/index.html Where do they find people this dumb to run schools?
  9. Only Hydrogen has that characteristic.
  10. And "wog" escapes your scrutiny?
  11. How much is that in bananas per furlong?
  12. That is Yosemite Falls in the background.
  13. Did the FCC fine them when their remarks appeared on CSPAN? We really should but a 7 second delay on those congressional debates.
  14. Yup its quite disgusting to see folks compare an administration they dislike to Hitler's regime because they disagree with government policy on some issues. You'd think the Democrat's didn't control both houses & the legislature didn't exist. If they'd spent a fraction of the time reading a relevant history book that they've spend posting on dropzone.com they'd know how ludicrous this is. Can you imagine Hitler calling for amnesty for illegal immigrants? This is an abysmally pathetic self-serving comparrison that would be funny if it wasn't so disgusting.
  15. Do you know what a carb does? Obviously this is an idiotic claim.
  16. I come in the name of Jesus, repeat after me bitch.... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b46_1181006282 Classic comedy.
  17. That's tested with atomic bomb? That particular crater was made in a test intended to see how big a crater they could make with a bomb if they buried it at the right depth.
  18. It is humbling to read his comments.
  19. In the PC context an IRQ is an ID number used to specify the hardware resource used to service interrupts from that device. There are a limited number of them and some are reserved for little things like your keyboard. Interrupts happen on specific physical wires/pins, think of it as an essential way for hardware to demand immediate attention at the hardware/firmware level. They are typically assigned automatically by the computer BIOS and can be specified manually if you really know what you're doing it can be bad voodoo if you have an IRQ conflict, devices can fail or suffer performance glitches & lost data & fatal corruption. With newer PC's APIC and Plug & Play technology issues of IRQ assignment have largely been dealt with.
  20. I know what your saying, although using that type of a character is a way of communicating to a child.. very effective i might say.. its goofy, but it works So the idea is not as daffy as I thought. Initialy I figured the guys who came up with this were mentally on pluto. It's not daffy, it's tragic, this is the kind of inculcation we're facing. As for incongruity, I remember seeing a photo shortly after 9-11 of a kid firing an AK-47 in celebration in a Palestinian refugee 'camp'. He was wearing a Spider-man t-shirt. You know, this guy: http://www.hijinks.com/~mark/archives/00000165.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xNgtWG09TQ
  21. I'm with you, I'm still 10-15 lb down, and not really done yet ;-)
  22. That is because you happened to have a data layer enabled with that icon on in it. probably a placemark in one of the community layers.
  23. Worked for me. I'd say bombing range too, there's lots of targets in reveted positions / behind berms and classic SAM layouts, fake target aircraft and quite a few impact craters on the berms in one area. I turn on the Geographic Web database layer and notice a photo of warning signs in Google Earth taken in that area that say "Laser Range in Use" and "Danger Unexploded Bombs". Finally info icons in the "Google Earth Community Foruns -> Military" layer tells me that this is the Pinecastle Electronic Warfare Range used by the U.S. Navy, in Ocala National Forrest and some labels even indicate what the sub regions in the database are. For example the craters are all in the "Live Impact Area" Armed with this you can find some ground views of spring-cleaning in the same area: http://www.jaxairnews.com/stories/032306/mil_range001.shtml P.S. http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php?Number=403723&page=0 For all things weird and wonderful, the place to find them easiest is the google earth community forums. The quality of information is mixed tough.
  24. You don't have to be a Christian to do that. In fact many atheists live exactly like that and would object to being called Christians. It also presents a tautology that presupposes a Christian is necessarily good. All you're doing is imposing a filter that denies the true nature of Christianity. Christians throughout history have butchered with the best of them. Denying that people were Christians who clearly were simply because they did things you find morally objectionable is simple revisionism. They belived that Christ was their savior, probably more devoutly than most Christians today. In fact you have to read the bible pretty selectively to conclude that going out on a genocidal spree is universally objectionable in the Christian religion. Sorry, you don't get to retroactively excommunicate Christian brethren in an attempt to cleanse the record. Christians did this in the past and an irrational belief system no matter how you window dress it always has the potential to revert to it's earlier ways, it just takes a literate Bible scholar to take the "Good Book" at it's word.
