Well, Friends, it has been 15 years ago today that the Twin Otter crashed at Perris Valley, taking 16 lives and affecting many more for life. I remember that day, the smells, the sounds and even what I was wearing... I wake up on this day every year and repeat the names of those we lost, grateful for the way they touched the people they knew. Grateful for the people that their passing brought into my life. I even say the names of those I did not know, understanding they too were special, somewhere, to someone. Oddly, even thier passing brought people I never would have met to me. Here they are, for those of you that knew any of these fine people, take a moment to close your eyes and see their face, imortalizing them. Pass this email on to anyone you know was involved with these fine people in any way, so they can remember and know, 'Gone, But Not Forgotten' If you know none of them, remember to tell those in your life who they are to you. Make a difference every day. I know each of my friends knew who they were to me, and it makes me very happy. Hello Everyone, Contrary to popular belief, I do not own Bonehead Composites, I have been a loyal employee that has found friendship and pleasure in assisting Chris build his little company into what it is today. I have done alot of good, and bad , but on the whole I am pleased with the business we have created. My customers are my friends and I feel as if I have developed a very personal relationship with so many of you. Sharing intimate details of our lives, you have been extremely generous with yourselves and who you are. I can only hope that I have made as positive an impact on your lives as you have on mine. Because I feel so close to you all, I feel it is my responsibility to let you know the next detail of my life. So........ I am excited to let everyone know that I am relocating to Brooklyn. Taking on the job as Operations and PR Manager at Atair Aerospace. I can not even begin to express how difficult the decision has been to leave, however I feel I have no possibility for movement into other areas that are more exciting for me I have. With my position at Atair, Bonehead's military line will get much wider representation. Yes. we just received the hinges and we should have some sets made up in about 2 weeks. It completely replaces the hinge, using the same holes. An extra hole is needed for the cypres loop. Don't ask these people..... Talk to me...... It depends on the configuration of the box. If it is Flat on the bottom you can mount it directly by countersinking a few screws (3 triangulated) through the bottom and utilize the center mounting camera screw. If it is not flat, mounting it to the side of a shark fin type platform will suffice. Either way you probably won't need a new box..... I just mounted another customers VX2k on a FT pro. The things you want to consider are these. 1. The extended plate so you can make a lens support u-bracket for the wide angle. You can hang the still inverted for horizoltal stills. When you want to shoot vertical you will need to put the vx next to the sharkfin, which may require a little wider top plate. Many purchase a second plate for the second setup option. 2. 1 or 2 Straps to go around the camera. 3. A bit of gasket cork or thin rubber sheeting to go under the camera to minimise slipage and act as a little shock absorber. 4. Neck excersizes........ Actually not that heavy I think the camera is 2 lbs with lens........
