And yes...my parents told me tooth fairy, easter bunny and santa were all real. It took me several years to realize that they all had the same hand-writing. And interestingly, the hand-writing looked a lot like my father's!! I continued to write letters to Santa until my father died. I treasure each and every one of those letters. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Believing in Santa in no way detracted from my learning about and believing in Christ. The focus of Christmas was always the birth of Christ. But part of the magic was Santa. Hi all...I had an autograph from my patellar tendon. My doc preferred the patellar tendon to the hamstring in women because women tend to have weaker hamstrings. Since the surgery is already completed, the arguments about where the donor material should come from does not help me. I have seen my PT guy and he has suggested the towel around the foot while seated to loosen the calf muscle. Unfortunately, it is not helping all that much. I am still in a ton of calf pain and relying on the crutches. My knee is not all that sore. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Did you pack for yourself? I have found that the jumping does not wear me out as much as the packing!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Ok...Had the ACL reconstructed 25 days ago. I have had some trouble with swelling and severe lateral pain. Then the pain stopped. So, according to my doc, I could walk as much as I wanted to. Spent one day walking without crutches. Woke up the next day with incredible CALF muscle pain. Now I am back on crutches not because of knee pain or lack of range of motion, but because my calf muscle hurts so badly!!! Any brilliant ideas on how to stretch it or to decrease the pain so I can get back to walking?? Thanks! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I voted taller. I once dated a man who was a couple of inches shorter than I am in flats. I ended up slouching all the time without even realizing it. The pictures told that story. My husband is 6'1" and I am 5'5". I fit perfectly into his arms for a hug. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I learned to drive a stick when I was 21 and my father decided I needed to be able to drive my friends' cars. He knew how much we liked to go to bars and such....so he taught me on his Alfa. I cannot believe he let me kill that car so many times. I then owned a stick for many years. I do not anymore, but I miss it sometimes. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am certainly in pain. My first PT session is later today. Marc got a little freaked out because they told him it was a 2 hour surgery....and the doc finally came out after three hours. Apparently I had done more damage than the MRI revealed. I cannot wait to see my scars today. And right now Marc is having oral surgery. My mom is with him while I wait at her house. We are having a rough week! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

In a good way....that first night in the house I bought for myself. I walked around and touched every wall. I slept in a sleeping bag in the living room. Place was huge...1600 square feet for just little old me...now that same house is tiny... three of us living here!.... in a good way...being a parent. in a not so good way....that those dishes don't do themselves. paying the mortgage. being a parent. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

You deserve to be surrounded by people who value what is important to you. If this person is blowing you off at a time when he knew it was an important time for you, he obviously is not putting you first. Now you have to ask yourself if you really meant that you do not want to talk to him anymore, or whether you can remain friends and accept him for who he is...maybe someone to have fun with but not someone you can count on. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

It is Friday and a beautiful morning....I finally got a good night's sleep and I am feeling great!!!! Bring on the weekend. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

It is only 2 am here....my daughter and husband are both snoring...the house is blissfully calm and all mine!!!! Why would I ruin this and go to sleep?? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Ok...having reconstruction of my ACL in a week. I get to decide which type of anesthesia I would like. My hubby and I do not agree....do you have any pearls of wisdom? Edit to add: I am obviously going to talk to my surgeon about this and he and I and my husband are going to make the decision...I guess I am just wondering what others thing they might do in my situation. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I voted for my husband....cuz I know what he would say. BOOBIES!!! One of the things he loves most about his job (firefighter) is that they take the truck to a clubby part of town and watch all the skimpily clad women walk by. And then he calls me to tell me about them. He is so cute! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I walked past Bob Costas on the streets on Clayton, Missouri. (suburb of St. Louis) Impressions: He is short. I said hello and he was cordial in reply. I met August Busch (Gussie, the past prez of Anheuser Busch) in my dad's office when I was in middle school. He was old and scary, but nice. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
