syntax

I've been mixing for over 12 years and have moved through a lot of styles from house, to hardcore. But these days I'm lovin hard house, trance and freeform.It definitely is easier combining a few jumps together and doing the soundtrack for them all as one long mix. ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

Hi all,I think a lot of people would agree that techno goes really well on jump vids.Well ive started using my djing skills to really personalise mine and other peoples videos.What i do is when i dub a video from a master tape i hook my mixer into the video.Then i take a collection of samples then i manually drop in at the right time of the jump in time with the track thats playing.(I use turntables)This can be time consuming but it is fun and the result is worth it.For example on the door i might use 'Welcome to my world' Or 'step out into the void' and at break off I'll drop in 'now is the time'. All perfectly timed because i'm watching the video and dropping it in manually.For a friends mal Video as the main streamered i dropped in 'Extreme terror!'and as he walked back to the dz i played 'I'm alive, I'm alive'This really seems to work well and adds to the intensity of the jump.Obviously the skies the limit as to what you can do here or rather the amount of records you have.Was just wondering if anyone else is doing anything similar with their jump vids. I think you should also be considering whether to pull your main or go for your reserve. ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

Hi All, My cypres is due for service and in was told that i could easily pop it out and send it to the dealer.Does anyone have any tips for this so i dont get too scared staring into my open reserve container! I jump an electra 190 and lately i havent been collapsing the slider after opening.I'm not worried about losing speed.Apart from the occasional flapping,can anyone see a problem with this? Cheers! ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

Yeah! Its awesome jumping on cloudy days. I usualy fly over an airport, skydive out ,land, then jump in another plane.Ive even taken a motorbike to the top of a building then riden off and dumped my parachute.I would have probably bought this game just for the jumping! ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

I hope this is the right forum for this.Has anyone played Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas? You can jump in a plane, climb to a really high altitude and skydive out! For a game, this is so realistic .You even need to flare your canopy to land.Also you can Base jump off buildings. ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

I,m very close to ordering my fist custom container and had decided on an Atom Ledgend.The only thing putting me off is what Ive been reading about cut away problems with reverse risers or rather the potential for problems.What is the general feeling towards them?Has anyone had a bad experience solely attributed to them? ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

I'd just like to take the oppurtunity to share my favourite d.z. story.A couple of old time skydivers were on a demo in the middle of the city and whilst on jump run at 5000 ft noticed there was a bit of cloud but everything seemed ok. However upon openening it was obvious they were going anywhere but down as they were storm clouds and ended up going up until they couldnt breathe.Both jumpers cut away and new that if they opened too high they'd be in the same situation so had to open at around 1000 feet.Both landing kilometers from the demo! What do you all think?Is this possible,or just a d.z. tall tale? ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!

Yeah good stuff! I used to worry about being unstable untill my aff stage 7. Trying to pull of 2 backloops almost guarantees you a bit of back time!I was surprised how easily i just rolled back over.Now i dont mind the odd bit of instability! ------------------------------------skydiving...the grounds the limit!
