  2. You have great timing! I am making jell-o shots tonight for our end of the year party on Saturday and I have never made them before. This info sure comes in handy.
  3. YAY! Thanks everyone. Keep them songs comin’, they’re giving some GREAT ideas and I will have to listen to a bunch tonight to remember how some of them go
  4. Got MY vote! name some songs then! And as far as the Rock genre goes, I was thinking along the lines of Rock n Roll, not like Alternative Rock.
  5. I am putting together an end of the year video of some RW 20 ways from this past year. BUT, I am at a loss for music ideas. If it were my footage I would know exactly what to use, but I want to fit the personality of this videographer and 20 way participants. Any suggestions?? I was kind of thinking along the lines of a Rock song, but nothing good is coming to mind. I want to stay away from trance, techno and pop.
  6. hey, we were just talking about you the other day. Glad to hear things are going well. Stop by Tecumseh soon! Or...a few of us may be visiting Cali this winter too
  7. Hmm...noone I know comes to mind right now. But it is hard to keep track of what people do in the real world
  8. Will do. If I had more time to micro-manage their processes maybe I would have had my camera back by now
  9. I agree, here is a short summary of my horrible experience with Sony. First, never send your camera to Precision Camera in CT. March 05-July 22, 05--Precision Camera was busy 'fixing' my camera. I got it back and a week later it broke with a new problem Aug 22-Oct 24, 2005--Precision Camera was busy 'fixing' my camera. I did not want to send it back to them, but Sony said I had to and if I had any problems to call them and they will expedite the process. Funny, when I called to tell them that Precision Camera was blowing me off and it was taking too long to repair, Sony said they could do nothing about it. Currently--NOW, I have to send my camera to Laredo Texas, gee, it sounds like they suck as bad as Precision Camera. BUT, they said if they cannot fix it, they will replace the camera. Precision Camera did give me back 1/2 of the flat fee I paid, which I will be calling them back to get it all back. 6 months of having my camera and not even fixing it is rediculous and unacceptable. Both Sony and Precision Camera suck.
  10. Happy Birthday to you!! I hope you had a wonderful day
  11. Bring it to the DZ this weekend, I want to seeee it!!!
  12. dammit, I haven't gotten mine yet and I heard that the article and pictures from the Midwest Boogie are in there.
  13. That's awesome! I use to work for a cargo airline company and we worked right on the airport. They would hold an airshow every year and the blue angels would be part of the show. Not a lot of work got done when they were there practicing, it was way too much fun to stand outside and watch them
  14. Welcome!! I hope you get a chance to wander over to Michigan sometime and visit
  15. I'm pretty sure I was in your guys room for a while one night.....Wait...you were ambushing somebody if I recall... hmm....which night? My memory is foggy for Thursday and Saturday
  16. hey PsychoBob!! It was so great meeting you and congrats on your first base jump, I'm glad I could be there to share it with you.
  17. 20 hours. It uses a AAA battery. So far so good...but I have only used it for about 3 hours so far.
  18. Just in case you were all dying of curiosity as to what I decided to get . I decided to get the Rio Forge (Sport). So far it does exactly what I want it to do...play music and I can add and delete my music files quite simply. One detail I really liked was the expandable memory option. I got the 512mb model, but it is nice to know I can upgrade it all the way up to 1.5gb.

    BD Long Lines

There are a few things that affected the wait time. First, the trains as has already been mentioned, Second, we stopped for those who landed in trees which were about 4 people? I bet we lost close to an hour of jumping for those two things alone. Yes there was lag time between jumpers, but this was to ensure that noone in freefall hit someone who was already open under canopy. Glad you had a great time, I know I did too!
  20. :1:0 One BASE jump at Bridge Day. It was sooo much fun as always
  21. I was just checking out some reviews on this one. It is looking pretty good except for the durability. Some complaints about just simply dropping the player and it breaks. Anyone else have any experience with it? I am hard on my electronics apparently since I have already gone through one MP3 player so it looks like I need durability!
  22. I know this has been posted in the past, but nothing on it recently. Just wondering what you all out there are using for MP3 player? I had a MPIO, but apparently somehow this summer I broke it. I am not really a big fan of the iPOD, I have never owned one, but they seem overpriced? Are they worth the price? I am looking for something to hold a bunch of songs, ~500ish. Good battery life would be great. I don't care to much for any optional extras, unless it would make my MP3 player do tricks So, what is everyone using out there and what do you recommend?? I NEED a MP3 player for my trip to Bridge Day!!!
  23. woo hoo! i might get to meet chirssy:) Only if you are lucky
  24. I will be there Thursday afternoon/evening. I am working as Staff on top the bridge, not sure which shift though, but I hope to meet some dz.commers during my shift.
