Hey Kim from Skydive university here. The SDU coach course is more in depth than the USPA course it focuses alot on how to teach and uses proven teaching methods on students. using isometric and kinosthesic methods needed to build muscle memory. There are actually only 2 evaluation skydives on the three day course, however we find that we will do a few more with the candidates before they are meeting the skill level required. Its more about training than a simple pass or fail. i have evaluated many courses over the last 8 years and all of the candidates praised the course. Rob laidlaw really knows his stuff and when you leave an Sdu course you leave with much more than just a coach rating. When you take the sdu course you also get your USPA rating but not vice versa.

Ampuria is hands down the best DZ in Europe, the scenery is fantastic you have the pyranese mountains behind you. The dz itself also has good facilities, nice big pool, tennis courts, go kart track. There is loads to do in the area, lots of watersports.(Beach is 10 min walk from dz!!) French border is only a 1 hour drive. There are Canyoning trips.(HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this whilst you are there.) The Dali museum in Figueras- short bus trip. The social scene is great and all the staff super friendly. There are winds but if you going for a few weeks you will be fine. Have fun.

Dont bother bringing your rig its bloody freezing here in tahoe!!! And go to Alpine meadows its only $46 a day great snow at the moment me and another brit chick just extended our stay by 1 more week!!!!

Oh me god!!! I wish i could make it to see yall, there is nothing i like more than jumping at Freezefest its an awesome time and great skydiving...... Have fun C**K BAGS Wish i was there.

WIRELESS internet YES...... LOAD ORGANIZING YES for all levels. The weather only looks crappy for 1 maybe 2 days but then its Florida folks anything can happen, but after that its looking perfect.... NOT that i pay any attention to the weather reports its usually wrong. Someone asked how many people are going???? Well i can telll you that we are thinking a minimum of ALOT ALOT..........
