Im not 100 percent sure but i think it was the Old WORLD record organized by the freefly training center about 4-5 yrs ago at Sebastian, they had bad weather and dropped them in Pahokee to get the record. Only 1 otter was used so 22 flyers 2 video maybe or 23 + 1 vid.. Something like that............

Key West Inn, Captain Hirams has offered Skydive Sebastian and all affiliated an excellent discount on rooms. So far 10 rooms are reserved for jumpers until November 15 at $89 plus tax per night. This is a $30 discount per night. Once the 10 rooms are booked another 10 will be reserved until December 15th. After December 15th all rooms will be regular price. Another benefit of booking your room early is if you book through New Year’s Eve your rate of $89 will apply. If you would like to book only for New Year’s Eve then the room will be $199. The Key West Inn’s website is accessible through Skydive Sebastian’s website. However, the reservations will only be available through telephone bookings. December 28th through December 30th Luis Prinetto will be organizing the Florida State Head-Down Record Attempt. Rook Nelson will also be organizing the event. If you feel your skills are adequate to join the attempts please contact Luis Prinetto at [email protected]. THIS WILL BE A PART OF THE ANNUAL INVASION AT SKYDIVE SEBASTIAN SEE THREAD IN EVENTS AND PALCES TO JUMP.

Yeah thats great you will have an awesome time, I promise... We now have another organizer for RW coming, The president of Skydive University Rob Laidlaw will be coming out various days throughout the boogie to organize some jumps..from 4 way to 20 ways Robs the man so come out and jump.

There will be a deal with a hotel in the area but probably not the BW.. possibly harims this year.. Should be cheaper, Its a nicer hotel aswell. Skydive Sebastian will be posting details on their web site soon so check over there periodically.

At this time i do not have a skills camp with the pd boys confirmed, Although i have been talking with them. This year may bring something a little different in the way of canopy stuff so just keep checking back as soon as i confirm i will post here.

I have just confirmed that Eric Deren will also be freefly organising at this years invasion. Keep checking back for more updates.

RDUB we have many organisers some big names to be confirmed. 20 Hours at the tunnel booked. All big manufacturers on site PD, UPT, confirmed, many more still in discussions. Raymond, I was not sure if you knew this but many world champion skydivers have taken the SDU coach course after they have become world champions because they want to perfect their teaching skills. The list is endless check out the coach directory at www.skydiveu.com I Actually i had a very long chat with a certain WC with over 12,000+ jumps and many championships under his belt just last month, He knows he is a phenomenal skydiver but lacks in the teaching field and was asking me, a measley coach for SDU and a non world champ for some tips.....He sat and took the course just 3 weeks ago and said it was great. Not everybody is competition driven and wants to win medals, some people enjoy teaching and passing along knowledge.

Gary Peek, The sdu Coach course is actually about the same price as a USPA course. I think you get a little more for your money going to an Sdu course. Doing a coach jump with an SDU coach through SDU schools is no more expensive than getting coaching at a dz that does not have a campus, In fact i work at the DeLand campus and can tell you i have been to many dzs charging alot more than what sdu does.
