I agree with Robert just because a man would use violence to protect his family does not make him a Violent man......to say the two are one in the same is stupid. I used to live with Fred Durst in Jacksonville Fla. Limp Bizkit sucked then and they still suck. We used to live in a beach house with about 6 guys and everynight we would ride our bikes to the boardwalk to get drunk. I made 4 actual jumps from Nov.-Jan.(student) but I jump in my head over and over everytime I look up and see blue skies....and I'm sure that number will increase dramatically in '04 as I plan to finish AFF quickly and start making several jumps each day i make it to DZ........... ............................... Well the weather was great and I was very prepared \ and I executed my jump very well and passed to next level in spite of my nerves...however the ride to altitude was a little less taxing then my first few jumps...oh I was still nervous but not as bad.....hopefully it will continue to get easier I love this shit...........Tom ............................... Hi all, Tomorrow I'm going to be making my 4th and 5th AFF jumps....and I have never been more nervous it's worse then the first jump.....I think it is because I really want to do well and I'm afraid I will screw up....I always thought that jumping out of a plane would be awesome...but now I want to jump ouuta a plane well.....I don't want my nerves to CAUSE me to screw up any advice ...please help....Tom ............................... Well yesterday was a beautiful day weather wise at my DZ...I'm just a student but am dying to progress quickly so I decided to jump every wekend until I get my license.......all of a sudden I realized it was Dec. 21 and I had not bought ANY...and I mean ANY Christmas presents for anyone and I have four daughters.....So it was either take the whole day and go shopping or say screw it and go jump........I wish I had jumped.....well there is always next weekend but it will probably not be as nice.....I must be hooked...even Christmas can't hold a candle to skydiving.......But I'm a Dad first and my girls sure think alot more of Christmas then Dad jumping outta planes.......... ............................... On which number AFF jump do you go from 2 JM's to one?........should you make more then one AFF jump per day during the beginning of student training...i.e. 1,2 3,?..........and why is skydiving consuming me? ............................... I came to this site because not unlike a heroin addict I was "joesing" for everyThing skydiving after one tandem jump....I DID NOT ASK for this addiction I did not know it would happen.....I just passed AFF 1 after my second attempt Saurday in the frezzing cold and I am going to jump again this weekend weather permitting...if I am not welcome on this site I will go elsewear......everybody talks about what a great community Skydivers are.....You may very well be But you do have a way of diregarding those with only a couple of jumps.you are a very guarded group of people understandibly so But jumping out of a plane even ONCE is a very very BIG DEAL and should not be treated lightly by those of you who have jumped thousands of times....I jump for me and not you....I come here obtain knowlegde to help me jump better....../........AM I WELCOME?.......sorry I'm venting I jump for me and not you.... ............................... Well I passed AFF1 on my second attempt....The first time a came outta the plane wrong and tumbled for a while before getting stable......The second time I was better prepared for exit and pulled it off pretty well.....boy was I glad I really like this sport and want to do well at it..........it's funny there was a time when just jumping out of a plane would have been enough for me ...now I wanna jump out of a plane and do it RIGHT.....Tom ............................... I just applied for a part-time job with USPA in their Communications Department...It is close to home , perfect hours and pays well for part-time work..plus how cool will it be to be at work and be REQUIRED to think about skydiving.....I really want this job cross your fingers for me.......THANKS ............................... Hi I'm at work super bored I have a question? If you could tell me one thing and one thing only that would make me a better skydiver....What would it be?.....I only have 2 jumps one Tandem and AFF1 which I have to repeat becuase of floundering exit and arch I really want to be good at this sport because i'm so in love with it the love was instant and now I want to give the love back by being the best I can be.......Failing Aff1 was tramatic but I'm over it now and ready to get it right this time.......just bored so I thought I'd ask........Tom ...............................
