When the units were switched on in the morning, were all of them left on for at least 15 minutes after they acquired a lock or is it possible that they were turned on for a shorter period of time?

Congratulations to the nine ladies who set the first U.S. National Women's Wingsuit Formation Record at Skydive Chicago during Summerfest. Organized by Taya Weiss, they completed a 9-way diamond on their fifth jump together as a team. The record holders are Melissa Nelson, Gosia Cienkosz, Omnia Ibrahim, Aga Kielbus, Liz Char, Taya Weiss, Ashley Marquardt, Crystal Lotz, and Betty Bennett (not pictured). I was lucky enough to be the camera-man and see it all come together. Records are made to be broken and there are already plans under-way to set a new record next year at Summerfest.

Marc, I'm in. Considering that there is no WI record yet, we only need 4 + video, but I think we should be able to round up a few more.

Thanks to everyone who attended. It was fun flying with all of you and I hope you will come back to visit more often.

I plan to be there there the first Sunday and then Wednesday through Sunday. I hope to see you there.

We are expecting a few wingsuiters to show up and all are welcome. This is a really nice event and I recommend it to anyone who can make it. There is a $25 donation for the event that goes to the local chapter of the national MS Society. This gets you a t-shirt, $18 jumps, dinner, live music, bonfire, midnight volleyball, ... and an all-around a good vibe.

I can imagine a scenario where one arm or hand is injured and not able to help unzip the good arm. For this reason the pf and birdman type release cables would seem to have an advantage. The S-Fly style single handle system that can be reached easily with either hand seems even better.
