Relax, relax, relax, no big deal..I did 45 minutes in one day last year at Orlando. Althought a little sore the next day, it in no way effected my jumping at SoBe's. The best advise I was given before heading south was to really stretch any and all muscle groups we normally use when jumping. Hey all, How often if ever do you really inspect your gear? Having just bought my first rig I looked at each seam, each line, item by item looking for problems.Luckly found none as did my rigger. Just got my 1st rig, used, albeit, but barely. J3, Saber 170, PD 160, cypres. with 40 jumps. All mfg'd 09/99. Cypres needs 4 yr and reserve repack and harness adj. All's sent out for fixes. Hey dude, I'm a low number jumper and just finished OSV7 on 20 March. What a blast..the camp was scheduled for 30 min, but got caught up in the moment and did an extra 15 min. Got 11 jumps in but haven't jumped since Oct 03 and am dying to get back up. Went to Piegon Forge in Dec and found it not very useful and completly unlike real air, got a camp in Orlando booked for march to refersh myself before taking to the air. I'd just say pace yourself. sensory overload hangs around for a long time, as I can sense. I feel compelled to tell my co-workes how my last jump went, even though I know they aren't interested. 10 jumps and I'm as addicted as one can be. Just received my Preyor Pin "Bomber" today. Hey all, did my first coach jump yesterday, yea!! Also had my first inconvience, an up slider and mild line twist. Kicked out real fast, no worries. Great landing. Thought is, was "happy" to have had something happen that I'd not experienced yet and able to work through so smoothly. Rehearsed mentally the what-if's over and over, it paid off. Just completed Cat C and D-1 Today, 6th total. Still having a tough time on exit with some swimming, 2 to 3 sec. then settle out real quick, good form, good awareness, nice canopy control and some real close landings and all but that first step still gets to me.
