I have a friend who jumps a Nitro 150. He absolutely loves it. The canopy was always spinning him into line twist and he even had to chop it once because of that. I put 1 jump on it doing a hop n pop and was warned to get some air speed before opening so I toke about a 5 sec. delay and it spun me up. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. i bought Under Armour cold weather gloves. They are basically the same as silk liners. they fit great under my neuman warm weather gloves and work great. my hands are never cold.

I work for a company that does extensive background checks on all perspective employees. (drug screening, criminal record and credit checks) I have probably interviewed 40-50 entry level people in the past 2 years and not one of them has ever questioned us asking for their SSN because they know if they wont give it there is no chance of them getting a job. Out of those 40-50 people interviewed I would say 75% of them failed to meet the criteria of the company. most of them get shot down on the drug screening. PA removed by slotperfect How do you have 146 jumps and not know the correct answer for dealing with tree landings? Do you really want to be responsible for a fatality when someone either hangs themselves or breaks their neck in the effort to climb down from a tree based on your 'directions' of climbing down the reserve lines????? It only takes a couple of inches shy of the ground to hang yourself... it has happened more than once in the past. Please read the SIM, talk to your instructors, don't answer questions that you don't know the answer for. Legallygirl... if you find yourself in a tree... WAIT FOR HELP. Secure your position in the tree by bear hugging it. Help may not be there in a short amount of time, it may take a while to find you, but be patient. It's better to wait for help than break your neck or hang yourself. Buy a SIM, talk to your instructors in person, take a first jump course. Hi Jen how have you been? This one is a good drill dive for a newer jumper. It makes you both work on fall rate, proximity, and turns. Do what ever exit you want to the round, then just have the first person do 90, 180, 270, 360 degree turns then it's the other persons turn. Repeat until break-off or dizzy which ever comes first. If you pay attention to some ads and pictures in skydiving, and parachutist you will see that they don't always reverse the negative of a picture. The last one that really caught my eye was a skydiver with an emmy award in hand, if you looked the words were backwards on it. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. ok why don't we try to get this thread back on track. we all know engineers can figure out crap and there will either be jello or pudding to play with saturday night. Pelt head boogie Friday July 13 in the AM to Sunday July 15 at sunset. Planes- CASA and a fast King Air Jumps- load organizing, hoop jumps, tracking dives, SOS record attempts, Pelt Head record attempts, packers to jump with, hit and chugs at the end of the day and anything else you can come up with within reason.
